We had the good fortune of connecting with Sade’ Culliver-Wilcher and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sade’, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
There’s no job out there that will let me express all the facets of me. I’ve always been passionate about art since a young age. I started with painting, then started making my own clothes, customizing shoes and even making home decor pieces. During COVID, I realized I was blessed with two passions. I started going to the gym and it absolutely changed my life. I got my certification and started taking clients to help women create the life they want, starting with their body and mind. So, I had no choice but to become an entrepreneur because I refuse to let go of either of the things that brings me joy!

What should our readers know about your business?
As a certified trainer and behavior change specialist, I coach group fitness classes and have a roster of online coaching clients that I work with closely to help them reach their goals. As a multidisciplinary artist, I create paintings, designs and content that encourages others and reminds them of the beauty that lives inside of them. Trying to combine two very unrelated crafts in a world that asks you to niche down has been… humbling to say the least. But, through my multihyphenate journey, I have learned that most of us are suppressing pieces of ourselves to fit some imaginary standard. Whether that’s letting go of a dream because you don’t think it will pay the bills, or simply not dancing to a song you like at the grocery store because people are watching. I want people to see my work and feel empowered to walk in the fullness and abundance of life that God has for them too!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m automatically taking my friends to the High Museum of Art when they come to the city! If Atlanta Streetwear Market is having an event while my friends are in town, we gotta get tickets to that too! I LOVE seeing all the talent in Atlanta pop out and they make it so easy to support local artists. Of course, I’m going to invite them to Inman Park to take one of my group fitness classes and then get one of the fluffy croissants from Bread and Butterfly. A night at the Interlock so we can get food, drinks, play games, etc. If they got their coin ready for a fine dining experience, I’d go to Spring, a Michelin Star restaurant near Marietta Square with top tierrrr flavors

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would not be where I am if it weren’t for my loving family and the supportive group of multihyphenate friends I have around me! Brandon, Tee, Trystan, Natalie, Jasmine, Chris… everyday my circle reminds me that being my authentic self (even if I don’t see examples of other people like me) is truly enough to create a successful career.
