We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabina Pons | Entrepreneur, Author, Managing Director Emilia D’Anzica | Entrepreneur, Author, Managing Director and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabina Pons | Entrepreneur, Author, Managing Director, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most crucial factor behind the success of our brand is undoubtedly the human element. Our journey is a testament to the power of the human spirit, collaboration, and a shared vision.

At the core of our brand lies a firm belief in the potential and capabilities of people, which has driven us to prioritize meaningful relationships, both within our team and with our clients. We have fostered a culture that is fundamentally centered on respect, empathy, and collaboration, and this ethos radiates outward in everything we do, influencing how we interact with our customers and shaping the products and services we offer.

It is our team that sets us apart. Each member brings customer success expertise as practitioners, along with unique perspectives, skills, and passions, to the table. We leverage this diversity to fuel innovation, spark creativity, and drive growth. We’ve brought groundbreaking customer success solutions to the market through a collaborative effort, open dialogues, and an environment encouraging personal growth. Protecting and growing company revenue is only one part of our success – the other element is the people we serve.

We strongly emphasize understanding our clients and their goals and pain points. We strive to know their desires, challenges, and aspirations, which enables us to tailor our offerings to their unique needs. This deep-rooted human connection allows us to create products and services that resonate, fill a gap, and improve lives.

In essence, the success of our brand has been and continues to be a reflection of the connections we cultivate and value – with our team, our customers, and the communities we serve. This human element is the bedrock upon which we have built our brand, and we firmly believe it will remain the cornerstone of our future success.

What should our readers know about your business?
Sabina and Emilia have been working together now for over three years. What started with Sabina hiring Emilia’s firm at the time to come in and teach customer success and build playbooks has resulted in a deep friendship, co-authoring a book during covid, Pressing On as Tech Mom, and working closely to build Growth Molecules™, an advisory firm that helps companies protect and grow revenue through customer success programs and training.

Working so closely together while being remote is hard! Especially when you through kids into the mix along with each of the women holding down other interests. Sabina lives in Orange County, in Southern California, holds a black belt in Taekwondo, and is committed to her practice and being a hands-on mom to her two children. Emilia lives in Sonoma County, in Northern California. When she isn’t working with clients at Growth Molecules, she is busy with her two children and taking advantage of the many sports offered in the mountainous region. Both women are committed to volunteering for various women and children’s non-profit organizations including https://radcamp.org/ and https://sonomacasa.org/.
With such busy schedules, Sabina and Emilia have successfully worked together for three main reasons:

We are passionate about customer success & keeping women in tech – Emilia and Sabina are customer success practitioners, having worked their way up the career ladder as mothers in technology. They work hard to help companies fix customer churn problems, build up customer success teams with training, and create scalable customer success programs through assessments and playbooks. They are often in the shoes of fractional chief customer success officers to help companies go through massive growth and change management. Both admittedly wake up excited to help individuals and companies protect and grow their revenue through customer success.

We both take the time we need off – when Emilia’s dad died, Sabina took over everything at Growth Molecules and at the biggest customer success event in the world, Pulse. When Sabina needed time off for unexpected health support, Emilia engaged with all clients until Sabina was back on her feet again. When family and kids needs us, have events, both moms tend them without ever worrying. They know they have each other’s back.

We respect while simultaneously challenging each other – We had very different upbringings and experiences in life but they somehow led us both to leading customer success teams, being mothers, women in tech, speakers and authors. We respect each other’s views on how to handle difficult situations, parent, lead our personal lives, and grow our companies even when we disagree. This means supporting each other when we talk through a decision point and one way wins over the other idea. Together we support the path without any negative feelings or actions, defending each other fiercely, proudly showing the world women can grow together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Sabina and Emilia love the outdoors, so that we would start with a workout in Piedmont Park in Atlanta. The 185-acre park is home to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and summer festivals and is popular with joggers.
We would then eat at The Flying Biscuit near the park, where you can satiate your hunger with a delicious American brunch.

The Van Gosh Immersive Experience in Atlanta is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Who doesn’t want to live inside a painting? This is your chance to see the work of your favorite artists as part of a unique light and sound atmosphere.

These immersive experiences include a 360-degree digital art exhibition offering an innovative way to discover the art, life, and secrets of the masters.

Think of it as a VR experience with projection mapping, atmospheric lighting, and digital displays. Immersive experiences for the work of Van Gogh, Monet, Klimt, and Magritte are available.

We would eat at a Southern restaurant unique to Atlanta in the evening – so many to choose from!

We would end the night on the SkyView Atlanta Ferris Wheel, which soars almost 20 stories high, offering a sublime view of the city’s skyscrapers, parklands, and seemingly never-ending suburbs! It is nestled amongst the controlled chaos of the Centennial Olympic Park area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to thank our clients who have helped us grow our service offerings by encouraging us to develop a professional development academy not only for customer success managers but also for customer support managers and leaders of teams in customer success. Today we offer over 30 classes taught in person and online.

Professor Vijay Mehrotra, for example, invited our company to develop a hybrid program through the University of San Francisco, which resulted in customer success training programs offering Continuing education units (CEUs).

Clients taking the time to give us feedback on our training, assessments, playbooks, coaching, and system optimization programs, for example, have helped our team continuously improve our offerings and grow as individuals. We believe in continuous feedback and development. Today, we are proud to have over 90 reviews on G2 (https://bit.ly/3pCydeZ), thanks to the great work our team has completed for companies like Aurora Solar, Modern Health, Leading Hotels of the World, and Monday.com.
