Meet Rondelle Martin | Christian Business Coach & Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rondelle Martin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rondelle, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area–specifically Prince George’s County, MD. However, my parents are from Guyana, South America, so I grew up with a mix of Caribbean and DC culture. Growing up my parents were very entrepreneurial and they always had a side business outside of their career jobs. They taught my siblings and I the importance of having multiple streams of income and using our talents and skills to create a stream of income. In Guyanese culture, family and community are important as well so I understood the importance of doing things for others and not just for myself. To whom much is given much is required, and my parents raised me with that in mind. This sentiment is what really helped me understand making purposeful business moves because purpose is never just about you as an individual, but about the people who will be impacted by your purpose.
Growing up in the DC area also exposed me to Black excellence at a young age. It was very common to see Black entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, and executives and the affluent lifestyle they lived. Not only that, but I was exposed to so many different cultures and nationalities from a young age too. DC is really a melting pot, so I learned early on how to interact and communicate with people from all over the world. That has helped me tremendously as I’ve grown in entrepreneurship because it provided me an awareness and understanding of different cultures that others may not have had as much exposure to.
Having these experiences and being taught these lessons when I was younger has really impacted the type of entrepreneur I am. I believe it has helped me be understanding of various cultures because of being exposed to them from a young age. Also, seeing my parents ambition and work ethic, and those of the people I grew up around, has empowered me to continuously go after my dreams and goals.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Christian Business Coach and I help Christian women create purpose-based, 4-figure coaching programs and service-based businesses. I help women create anything from coaching programs, to membership programs, paid mentorships, digital products, or even monetize their influence, in my signature programs. This is all derived from what my client feels purposed to do. I’m passionate about service-based and e-learning businesses because it’s the way of the future, especially as we see an increase in working from home. Also, it’s one of the lowest-cost businesses to start since you don’t have to create physical products or have much physical overhead. It’s important to me to help my clients birth businesses out of purpose because that’s when you’re able to bridge the gap between what you love to do and getting paid. So many people desire to get there, but never do. My other business is being a Content Creator and that entails working with brands to promote their products. I’ve worked with larger brands such as Palmers and Ty Brand (Beanie Babies), but I really enjoy working with up-and-coming brands and solopreneurs to help expand their reach.
I started business coaching during the pandemic in 2020 after prayer and being led in that direction. I realized I wanted to brand myself as a Christian Business Coach after I did some market research because my faith is really at the center of what I do and why I do it. I never want to do something out of alignment of what God would want me to do in a specific season. I also pray for my client’s success, and share faith-based motivation so I wanted to ensure that anybody who would work with me would be comfortable with that to avoid any confusion. In September 2020, after many months of planning, I launched my coaching business and had a 4-figure launch day! It wasn’t easy planning my coaching business because I wanted to make sure I covered all the bases in my client journey in the program. I also felt like I was responsible for all of my client’s success, but in reality I’m not. I’m just providing them the tools, insights, and strategies, but it’s up to my client’s to do the work. Thankfully, I’ve been able to witness many of my client’s wins along the way.
I started being a Content Creator in May 2019, but I really didn’t get serious about it until November 2019 after my family had relocated to Atlanta. We ended up being homeless for almost 2 months and bouncing around from hotel to hotel to stay off the street. During that time I started sharing my story and life more transparently, and recording Youtube videos on my cell phone. Over time, it was my transparency that drew people to my brand, Daily Delle. I’ve continued sharing candid stories about my life and lessons I’ve learned, and Daily Delle has become a place for the modern Christian woman to discuss and learn more about faith and life topics.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend and I love museums, so I would start off by taking them to the Trap Music Museum and Culture Experience ATL. We would also visit MLK’s home in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood, and then check out the Coca Cola Museum and the Aquarium downtown. We would have to have dinner one night at Mary Mac’s Tea Room, and I would also stop by the Slutty Vegan for some of their food. At some point we’d have to hang out at Piedmont Park and rent some segways, and then stop over at Ponce City Market to relax on the lawns with some dessert. We’d probably explore some nightlife in Buckhead as well. We typically love to do anything that has to do with the arts, history, or overall is a more laid back experience with great food and music.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give credit to my mom, Constance Martin, and my sister Rochelle. My mom has always allowed me the space to pursue my goals and take risks along the way. She has never stopped supporting me even if things didn’t turn out as planned, and she always speaks life into me when I am feeling unworthy or frustrated. I have to thank my sister for watching my son so that I can work so hard towards my goals. I’m a single mom, and it’s an absentee dad situation, so if I didn’t have my sister here to help with my son it would make it so much harder for me to pursue my goals. My mom and my sister are truly a huge support system for me in my entrepreneurial journey.
