Meet Roger Haddad | Chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Roger Haddad and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Roger, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Being in healthcare, I wanted the ability to practice in a way that was congruent with my values and design the care I gave my patients around how I would want care for myself and my family. I try to take a very personalized approach to chiropractic care and really take time to educate my patients not only about their current concerns, but also what we can do to minimize their need for care in the future. This usually involves helping patients understand lifestyle factors and encourage them to form positive health habits. Another factor in deciding to go into private practice was just having more flexibility with my schedule. This isn’t as important as the previous reasons I’ve stated, but was certainly a factor since I try very hard to maintain a good work/life balance.

What should our readers know about your business?
I suppose one thing that helps differentiate my clinic is the amount of personalization I can bring to each patient. Each patient has unique needs and being able to take the time to hear about what the patient is going through and being able to problem solve with them has been a really rewarding experience for me. I have had numerous patients tell me that they have been to offices where they felt rushed or just like a number on the board and not a real person with real complaints to work through, this is something I never want to be said about my clinic. I really try to make it a point for patients to know that I am with them as a supporting figure on their wellness journey.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a shoutout to my wife, Chelsea Haddad. She has been supportive and encouraging with every step of this journey. From supporting us through my time in school and into getting my business off the ground, to starting her own company in the last couple of years, her work ethic is amazing and she continually inspires me to push myself and my business to new levels.
I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention Dr. Roy Sweat. He was my mentor in chiropractic and the time I spent with him were some of the best moments of my chiropractic journey. He worked tirelessly to care for his patients and lived the life of a true servant. He was in private practice from 1953 until 2022. Sadly, he passed away early this year but I will cherish the time I spent with him for the rest of my life.
