We had the good fortune of connecting with Robert Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robert, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Growing up, I saw my father and uncle and a few other people around me that had businesses that were successful, and I wanted that same thing for myself and family. I didn’t grow up with a lot, so at an early age I had to figure out different ways to make money. In high school, I sold my god-mother’s cookies, fixed computers, and sold other products on eBay. All of these things helped me learn how to start businesses. I’ve always learned to take my life experiences and turn them into a profit, and this is one thing that brought me to where I am today. Planning our wedding helped formed our wedding business. I became an officiant and married over 500 clients within 7 years. While fixing my own credit, I used what I learned to start a credit repair organization. I also used my love and my son’s love of super heroes to write a children’s book. My thought process usually starts with what I am going through or what is happening in my life. Then I think to myself “how do I make a profit off of this?” Then I execute my plan. .

What should our readers know about your business?
Wright Now Holdings is the umbrella for 3 different businesses. We own Wright Now Weddings, Wright Now Credit Solutions, and Wright Now Publications. Wright Now Weddings has been around since 2014 and has served over 500 clients to date. I am most proud of the excellent customer service that we provide, and my 5 star ratings and great reviews are reflections of the great service. We are warm, welcoming, and “Wright” on time! We pride ourselves on giving amazing ceremonies and demonstrating love to our clients. Wright Now Credit launched back in 2018 but only to close family at that time. We went full scale in June 2020. We have clients all across the United States, and they all say, “We signed up because we trust you.” I treat everyone I speak to like family and build rapport with them so that they trust me and feel comfortable with me. I communicate with all my clients on a regular basis and keep them up to date with the progress being made to their credit. I want the world to know that in either company, Wright Now Weddings or Wright Now Credit Solutions, you’ll get the same experience: trust, love and care for any situation. We use our experience to help everyone we come in contact with and that’s what we want the world to know about us.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In all honesty, I would tell them to stay home because of COVID. However, in a world without COVID, we would go to brunch at Roc South Cuisine and maybe catch a movie at the drive-in theater, Starlight. Another day, we would go to Suite Lounge for food, drinks, and good vibes. Another day, we would go to Spinning Pie on Peters Street to experience the best pizza Atlanta has to offer. My favorite is the jerk chicken pizza. Bougalou Lounge is close by, so we could stop there afterwards for drinks and music. I’m a huge sweets and dessert person, so we would definitely make some dessert stops. My favorite is A Haute Cookie on Grant Street in Atlanta. The cookies are gourmet and absolutely delicious. While we are there, we can walk down the hall to The Bailey Wine Cellar to grab some wine. I would probably also take them to Lennox Mall to shop.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
1st and foremost God, I’d like to give credit to my Wife (Jasmine) and family (parents, siblings and aunts, uncles and cousins) for all the love and support in everything that I’ve done and started.
