We had the good fortune of connecting with Rob McCampbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rob, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own buisness wasn’t my own, I just loved making good drinks for my people. The thought of turning this love/hobby to a business actually came from family and friends. They’ve always encouraged me to turn my love into entrepreneurship. However, I did not think It was something I could commit to. The people in my life provided the confidence I needed to jump out on faith. Once I received that love, I decided to actually look into the details of pursuing what I love to do.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
911CocktailsLLC! A bartending service that caters to the needs of the customer. The thought behind the name? because it’s an emergency! We need Cocktails! Our goals is to provide fast & efficient service for all patrons in the Metro Atlanta area. We choose to source locally, with spirits and craft beer. This is how we highlight the community that’s here in Georgia, and if there are things you need specifically we can cater to also. Being that we are very new here in the Atlanta area, we are able to tap into all types of events: from birthday parties, backyard cookouts, Friendsgivings, and game nights, etc! We provide a service when it is needed. With 911Cocktails LLC we focus on our clients and quality. This is something that separates us from other services.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So if me and my best friend is in town Im definitely taking them all around! But 1st stop is my house cooking on the grill with other friends and family. Im going to make my style of jerk chicken with grilled corn, rice & veggies along with great frozen daiquiris. In no particular order we are outside the rest of the week. We are getting birria from my fave Mexican spot in Lilburn. Going to EAV to bar hop, jumping on the belt line to eat and walk around and catch the art, find a festival!(it’s always a festival going on in Atlanta) We also have to go to a speak easy, so many good ones here! Depending on when they come, definitely catch first Fridays at the High Museum, and finish off the rest of the week where all of my industry friends are, because gotta show love!!!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To be honest shoutout to everyone in my life, they all played apart! But if I had to dedicate to a specific person It would my family who put me behind the bar at his club. Shoutout to Marlon and my Stainless Ent. Family!
