We had the good fortune of connecting with RJ Noord JR and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi RJ, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think the most important factor behind my success has been my belief in GOD & my unwavering faith and belief in myself. Honestly all of this happened by accident, when I first started modeling I had no direction or idea the doors that could open up for me but I’ve always had relationships with people by just being a good person and also my basketball career.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I want people to learn from my art/ craft is that what you put in is what you get out of this! After my first photoshoot when things blew up for me I had a photo shoot every single day for a month, Worked Two Jobs, and worked out three times a day because i’m an collegiate basketball player. One of the things that I took away from a mentor I met at school this year was that we as people are more capable than we think we are especially mentally.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m from the east side of atlanta so the first place we have to go is JJ’s fish & chicken that’s mandatory and that’s law! Next I would have to take them to Cascade or Golden Glide so they can really feel what atl is about & plus skating is amazing down here! The Aquarium, Word of coca cola, Fernbank museum, and all the clubs and bars are also all great tourist attractions.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The first person I want to thank for my recent success is GOD! Without GOD I am nothing and wouldn’t be in the position I am today without him. Secondly I would like to shoutout my mom she’s been my backbone my whole life and has supported me in whatever my whole basketball career and recently in my modeling career. I would like to also thank Chris Brown the owner of wrassassin. When I first got into modeling he was the first person to put bring me under his wing and give me game and tips on how to move and navigate through this entire process. Chris has became a lifelong friend and will always be family. Lastly I would like to thank my good friend Kayla Horton. When I first started talking pics and making reels she would always be real with me and give constructive criticism on my outfits and poses and she would also be down to record me and take my pictures anytime.
