We had the good fortune of connecting with Richard Charles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Richard, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be one of positivity and light. I want people to remember me as someone who could cheer them up, help them through hard times, and bring a smile to their face. You never truly know what someone is going through, so I try to be a source of joy and encouragement. Through my content, it’s an incredible feeling to know I can brighten someone’s day, and hearing how much it means to people to meet me is something I cherish.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Before I could freely share myself on social media, I had to go through a journey of self-discovery. It took time to embrace my body and build confidence after struggling with body dysmorphia and self-doubt. But as I learned to love myself, I realized many others felt the same way, so I started creating content to help people see their own beauty and worth.

Content creation has opened so many doors for me, allowing me to meet incredible people and inspire even more along the way. My goal is to uplift others and show them they’re not alone in their journey.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
On Day 1, we’d start with breakfast at Home Grown GA for amazing biscuits, then explore Centennial Olympic Park and the MLK Jr. National Historic Site. For lunch, we’d hit The Varsity for classic Atlanta fast food, then stroll along the BeltLine and check out Krog Street Market. In the evening, we’d have tacos at El Tesoro.

On Day 2, we’d grab pancakes at Ria’s Bluebird and then hike Stone Mountain. For lunch, we’d have burgers at Medellin Burger, then relax at Piedmont Park. We’d end the day with dinner at Woody’s Cheesesteaks and drinks at Joystick Gamebar.

Day 3 would start with breakfast burritos at Gato, followed by a free day at The High Museum of Art or checking out murals in Cabbagetown. For lunch, we’d go to Fred’s Meat & Bread for sandwiches, then visit Oakland Cemetery in the afternoon. For dinner, we’d enjoy wood-fired chicken tacos at Little Rey.

On Day 4, we’d have breakfast at Thumbs Up Diner, then explore Atlantic Station or catch a cheap movie. Lunch would be at Mr. Everything Café, then we’d tour Ponce City Market or ride the BeltLine. We’d wrap up the day with dinner at Slutty Vegan.

On Day 5, we’d start with pastries at Dulce Vegan and then visit the Atlanta History Center. For lunch, we’d grab tacos at Taqueria Del Sol, then explore the Trap Music Museum or shop at Rag-O-Rama. We’d finish the day with dinner along Buford Highway, trying international eats.

On Day 6, we’d have breakfast at Highland Bakery and then take a peaceful walk through Lullwater Park. For lunch, we’d go to Mamacita’s for empanadas, then visit Grant Park and Zoo Atlanta in the afternoon. We’d end the day with a movie night in the park or dinner at The Vortex.

On the last day, we’d enjoy brunch at Sun In My Belly, then shop at Ponce City Market or Little Five Points. We’d have lunch at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and end the trip with a visit to Cascade Springs Nature Preserve.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shoutout to my friend Noelia Nava. She has done incredible work in previous presidential campaigns and is deeply committed to advocacy, especially for immigrants facing deportation. As a proud Mexican woman, she remains faithful to the law and dedicated to making a difference. Her hard work and passion make her a true staple in the community, and I deeply admire everything she does to create positive change.
