Meet Rho’Nesha Bontemps | Life Coach for moms

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rho’Nesha Bontemps and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rho’Nesha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The biggest thought process behind starting my business was time and financial freedom. I wanted to be able to raise my kids and still contribute to my household financially.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my first business while pregnant and on bedrest. I was in corporate and knew that I didn’t want to go back to a career that was literally draining me. I was a virtual assistant and while I was good at it, I knew I was meant for more.
I transitioned into coaching moms while dealing with PPD. My depression came from mourning the life I had before kids. I was mourning my freedom and independence. I had to literally create a new identity..
What sets me apart is ky experience in redefining what motherhood looks like. I didn’t see anyone else talking about grief after kids, at least not in the way I was grieving. I couldn’t find anyone who was talking about this so I decided to.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Tampa Bay so there are tons of things to do and plenty of places to ear.
Places to check out: St. Petersburg restaurant scene and art scene are excellent. My top recommendation to eat is Rum Fish Grill. You can enjoy a good meal im front a huge aquarium.
We’d aso explore Bush Gardens to check out the shows and ride all the rides while enjoying the animal throughout the park.
For a relaxing scene we’d bike or stroll around Riverwalk exploring the history of The University of Tampa. We could also do a water taxi ride and explore the amazing food court of Armeture works.
Next, we would check out a broadway show at The Straz Theatre. They have the hottest plays in town.
If you’re into nature, we’d check out the Manatee viewing center and pet the sting Rays.
The opportunities here are endless.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Pierre, my sister Kenyatta, and friend, Tiauna.
They’ve always been my biggest supporters. Whenever I feel doubt in my abilities, the help remind me that I have a skillset that the world needs.
