We had the good fortune of connecting with Rena Antebi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rena, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Putting your best face forward. I pride myself on good customer service while providing a comfortable environment for everyone I work with. Seeing the beauty in everyone, and being allowed to make people feel like the best versions of themselves.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an Atlanta based makeup artist with over 18 years of skincare and cosmetic experience. I started my career with, and was trained by Trish McEvoy. I worked my way up the corporate ladder to become an expert teacher in all things makeup and skincare related. As the owner of Faces by Rena, I pride myself in teaching others how to apply their own makeup, no matter how minimalistic or amped up one is! When I’m not teaching makeup, I am applying event applications to those wanting to feel like the best versions of themselves for a special occasion. Makeup can feel overwhelming to many people, I am here to take the angst out of it, making your routine time more enjoyable, allowing you to put your best face forward!
I have learned so much during my time in cosmetics. Most importantly, perception is reality and treat everyone with the same respect. I have no agenda when meeting with clients other than making sure they are happy with the outcome and feel comfortable and confident.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely visit Bishop street and ponce city market and walk the beltline! We’d eat at local restaurants that we are feeling at the time. We would visit local boutiques for shopping! Maybe venture to downtown Roswell to walk around and enjoy a local beer. If kids are involved, we are definitely going to the aquarium and coke museum and hopefully a local sports game!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would not be where I am today without clients, especially the loyal ones! They have each made an amazing contribution to making my career what it is today, and I am eternally grateful!
