We had the good fortune of connecting with Regine Theodore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Regine, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for my business came about like most of my ideas. You could say Divine Intervention mixed with a good portion of circumstance. I always knew what a very special phenomenon it was to be a twin and that I should take full advantage of that. It was also a coincidence that the name of my business was also the initials of my name, the vision for RichTwins was that I wanted my twin and I to be rich but not just financially. I saw us being rich in all aspects of our lives from our emotional, mental, and physical health to our social, occupational, and creative wellness. I wanted that philosophy to be translated in the products I would create and the importance of those categories of wellness to be received and understood by the community of people I would eventually reach and impact.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
RichTwins Unlimted is an umbrella of a multitude of services that I am skilled and passionate in that I’m very excited to offer the world. We offer real estate services including short term rentals, interior design, staging, as well as 3D floor plan renderings. I also have an entertainment sector of my business that offers model coaching, marketing strategy, and event planning. Lastly, my merch line of apparel for couples, multiples, families, and soon moving into petwear is my creative outlet and where my vision for RichTwins truly was centered around. It’s what gets me most excited to launch and to see people wear all around the world.

What sets RichTwins apart from others is the amount of experience I have in so many areas and being so passionate about honing in on my strengths and skills to really elevate the level of service and attention that one will get by tapping into our firm. From my first business endeavor starting a wedding planning firm when I was only 22 years old, first interning with a wedding planner, to then becoming certified as an event planning specialist I built myself up as an entrepreneur fairly young without all the convenience of information and guidance that one has now at the tip of their fingers. I’ve also built my expertise from years of working in corporate America through various jobs in the Real Estate, Homebuilding and Design industries and working from the bottom up to learn new skills, seek mentorship, and be bold enough to ask for promotions, raises, and sales. Being a serial entrepreneur is nothing short of easy, it took commitment, unbelievable hustle, and grooming myself as a professional to be taken seriously in such a male dominated industry such as homebuilding for instance.

Some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way through my entrepreneurial journey is no one owes you anything that includes support or understanding your vision. Don’t take it to heart when someone doesn’t buy into your brand, business, or vision, love them anyway. However, there are people that will see it and those are the ones you need to surround yourself to keep your fire lit when it comes to that vision, idea, or business. Other lessons I learned is you need people. you can’t blow anything up by yourself. You will need others to support your dream, facilitate, fund, execute, and/or promote. You can go far alone but you can go further together. Understanding people and meeting them where they’re at is so important in building your emotional intelligence and your dreams. Last and greatest lesson I learned is work ethic, discipline, and consistency is the most important aspect of building anything. You will never achieve the outcome you’re looking for if you do not become disciplined in your work ethic.

I want the world to know that I have put in the work. I have been humbled, I have had over 50 jobs since I was 16 years old. There are so many skills and so much experience that I have earned through each position I’ve held. I am retiring myself from building other people’s dream and solely want to focus on building mine. I want people to know that my story is intense, my testimony will shock some, but where I’m headed is greatness and I want to inspire others that you do not just have to stick to one thing. Explore your heart’s desires, be creative with your life and find the lessons in every experience good or bad.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area I would first start off with an incredible breakfast to fuel us for the incredible day ahead! I would take them to Another Broken Egg for breakfast in Vinings and sit out on the patio. It’s such nice vibes and the food is super filling and delicious. Next I would take them on a trail in Smynra to walk off those breakfast calories. I absolutely love the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. It’s an easy trail and has great sights of the Chatthoochee River and some cool graffiti. I would then get us home to shower and head into the city for some more walking and maybe even some shopping. First stop is the Ponce City Market where they can window shop and we can even grab lunch later on and walk along the Beltline. We can stop at King of Pops for a popsicle and walk all the way to Virginia Highlands. Depending on our mood and taste we would either eat at Bartaco for tacos or Barcelona wine bar for tapas. I would then have us walk back and do a mini photoshoot under the bridge on the Beltline where there is more street art. For dinner I’d take her to Colony Square and do dinner at Pulitan Food Hall and potentially catch a movie at the theatre inside Colony Square. Next day, I would take her to catch breakfast to-go at this Taco Spot in Smynra that allows a hispanic pancake vendor called Devorame Delights to post outside of their taco restaurant. They have these beautiful mini pancakes and toppings galore that you can go crazy on your own sweet combo, next I’d take them to a Braves game at the Battery and play some games at Punchbowl Social beforehand and then grab dinner at TacoMac or Ph’East for some ramen. We’d then go to the game and stay til the end to watch the fireworks. Some other places I would take my friend is Atlantic Station, probably start out at Ikea for a fun walkthrough of furniture gazing and grab some cinnamon rolls before we leave, then take a stroll through Atlantic Station to check out their art’s & craft fairs, I’d then venture to East Atlanta and get some Hattie’s Hot Chicken and go through Little Five Points on a thrifting spree. I’d have to also take them to the High Museum and hope that a really cool exhibit is being featured and then do dinner at Tuk Tuk Thai Restaurant off Peachtree. A couple other places I would have to take them to is Stone Mountain for a fun hike and then get some delicious Slutty Vegan off Edgewood as a “healthy” reward. I would make sure to do alot of outdoor activities like bike ride through Piedmont Park, scooter through midtown, and do a walking tour of “Old Atlanta” including taking them to The Underground downtown, Centennial Park, and perhaps checking out a show at The Fox Theatre. I would make sure we get a Krispy Kreme donut while the Red Hot sign was on as well as take them to some out of the Perimeter spots like The Avalon for a stroll and try some ethnic foods off of Clairmont and Buford Hwy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate a shoutout to my mom, twin sister, and my partner. My mom is a very cliché but obvious choice because without her there’s no me. She has always supported my many entrepreneurial endeavors even when she didn’t always agree with them and I appreciate that so much because it’s so important to have someone homebased that you can count on for support. I want to also shoutout my twin because how would I ever have came up with the RichTwins concept without having a twin. She may not be an active part of my business but it’s her willingness to help and assist when I need her that is so crucial to RichTwins becoming a success. Lastly I have to thank my biggest fan, cheerleader, and active part of my entrepreneur journey is my partner. He has been such an involved participant in building my brand, helping me create content, constantly reassures me and always firmly stands behind me when facing new opportunities. From creating my website to supporting the first steps of making my business official I give him so much praise in helping RichTwins come to life.
