Meet Raven Frazier | Brand Strategist and Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Raven Frazier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Raven, why did you pursue a creative career?
I did not pursue an artistic career. At least not initially. I always enjoyed artistic hobbies and personal projects. But I did not have enough confidence in my work to provide services to others. Instead, I worked regular jobs to make ends meet and hated every second of it. This was a valuable lesson in my journey however because it was a push for me to change my mindset. I no longer allow fear to hinder my growth. André Gide said that “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” I choose to pursue this creative career because it is much more fulfilling when you take leaps to live out your dreams.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a brand strategist and designer, I provide businesses with the most important tools for their success. I assure each client that I can provide these tools by actively listening, hearing, and understanding their needs. More importantly, I analyze the needs of their audience allowing business owners to effectively reach their target. I am most excited about the new things that are in the works for The Total Brand Agency! A launch is brewing! Professionally, I am where I am today by operating in my faith. It has not been and is not an easy task at all. I remind myself daily that I can conquer all obstacles. I do it by taking one step at a time, not allowing myself to be overwhelmed. I have learned so many lessons along the way. My top two are that it is very important to build a strong mindset to endure hard times and never stop learning and remain a student of your craft. I just want to encourage others to not allow fear and failures to hinder you in your journey. As long as you stay strong, keep moving, and never stop learning, you will succeed. The Total Brand Agency can help you with effective brand communication and correct marketing. Remember that it is not about what you sell or do, it is all about the experience and the impact.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am such an introvert. However, if I had a week to do something, I would do brunch at The Ponce Room, take pictures somewhere in Ponce City Market, and enjoy other activities there. For something more fun, I would go to The Complex in Atlanta to enjoy some fun activities, eat and drink! We would go shopping, visit an art museum, and maybe enjoy a Sip & Paint event. I would definitely like to spend a few days relaxing and decompressing at The Château Elan Winery Resort in Braselton, GA.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost a big shoutout to God! I also want to give a huge shoutout to my support system! My mother has always pushed and encouraged me to chase my passion. My husband is the absolute best! He supports my every move as an entrepreneur, invests in my business, and speaks life into me and the business! My children are my motivation every day. I truly appreciate them! My sisters are the best cheerleaders! My oldest sister specifically pushes me to be more confident. I am forever grateful for her when it comes to this agency. Lastly, my family and close friends are very supportive. I cannot thank these individuals enough!
