We had the good fortune of connecting with Ra’Shae White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ra’Shae, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking has been the main focal point for me as an entrepreneur. It’s very important especially when you didn’t come from much and want more. That risk could change your life for the better. My business started with me taking a risk of leaving my 9-5 and focusing more on what I wanted to do & bringing my vision to life. I’m Still taking risks 2 years later.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have two businesses I have a hair business my first baby called “Flysheso Hair Collection” & a clothing business called “Bipolar Boutique”. I’m excited because I run them both myself and I’m fulfilling it. Flysheso is different because she’s me the name was what I called myself on Twitter and the name stuck with me. I always wore bundles that flowed with me so well to the point people wanted to purchase hair literally off my head. I was obsessed with the idea so I began to study hair in and out. It took a lot of work and understanding , especially the legal side. I have a notebook full of notes step by step of what to do and what not to do. I went through trail and error my first few times, but it all molded me to get to where I am today. Everything I learned with hair tied in with me knowing more to launch my online boutique. I am a fashionista so I dreamt of my boutique for a really long time. The name and aesthetic was already planned years ago. Bipolar Boutique came from me and my mood swings because I express myself through clothing. Some days I’m giving fun with heels and some days I’m chill with sneakers but im always stylish. I’m personally all about seeing my vision come to life. The hardest part has to be you yourself being your main source of support on the worst days. Although, once you get positive feedback it gets easier to overcome almost anything. Juggling both isn’t easy at all, one gets more attention than the other at times But I’m learning balance. Along the way I’ve also learned strength, patience, & determination. I do want people to know that your brand is apart of you and should reflect you in every way shape and form. Go for everything you invision no matter how big, and write everything down and start somewhere. Both my brands are built off of me and I am my own person always, so if you relate to me & my vibe you will always relate to my brand and my story 💗

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I’m more for good venues & vibes so three places I know off hand are old lady gang for a soulful modern vibe with good southern food. Next for more of an upscale luxurious vibe I would say stk steak house it’s a great venue and has amazing food and drinks. Lastly, for a vibe with the gang we would definitely hit top golf.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shout out all hustlers especially female hustlers. Majority of the women in my family hustled for a living and provided for their family and others. I’ve always been inspired by those type of people. I feel as if they bypass doing the bare minimum. My deceased cousin “Kokethia H.” still motivates me from her grave that’s the power of a real hustler. I’m inspired by all who can influence people to want better and go harder.
