We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Glazer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Being in the construction business for over 25 years, I have learned to put myself in my client’s shoes and understand their needs. I understand how emotional it can be to renovate or build your own personal home or business, so I make sure our entire team ‘hold’s our client’s hands’ throughout the whole building process. We work as a team to make your home or your business space beautiful!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am Randy Glazer, owner of Glazer Design and Construction here in Atlanta. We have been building in Atlanta for 28 years and have completed over 800 residential renovations, new home builds, and commercial renovations. Since building our own office on Roswell Road in Buckhead in 2015, our business has tripled, making our company consistently ranked in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top 25 Residential Remodelers. What sets us apart from others is the ability to work well with our clients. We have been told we are easy to work with, trustworthy, and our attention to detail is what makes us one of the best. Even when the economy has been tough, we have shifted some of our focus on more commercial building and smaller projects. I have learned alot of lessons along the way especially have learned that in construction, everything can be fixed. Mistakes happen, life happens, but the end result is a beautiful outcome.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite things to do in Atlanta are hiking at different locations along the Chattahoochee River, driving around the gorgeous neighborhoods in Buckhead, Virginia Highlands, Morningside, and the Beltline. I also enjoy the Shoppes of Buckhead- I may be biased but we did the build out of one of the best Italian restaurants at Shoppes of Buckhead called Taverna where you can sit on the outdoor covered patio and feel like you are in Europe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Greater Atlanta Home Builder’s Association (HBA) and NARI have been a huge help for me to grow and navigate through the changes in the construction industry here in Atlanta over the past 25 years.
