We had the good fortune of connecting with Randalyn Ladson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randalyn, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I didn’t to be honest. I kind of just jumped into the business world without having any knowledge of what I was getting myself into. I have always been a licensed Cosmetologist and Instructor for years, but never did I think at one moment that I would have a successful Paramedical Cosmetic Tattooing company. Once I took that leap of Faith, the business ideas started forming itself. I just had to walk in my Faith and not by sight and let God be God. The rest is history!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a Paramedical cosmetic tattoo Artist, the owner of Allure Beyond Beauty. My company specializes in paramedical 3D realism areola tattoos, breast scar camouflage, nipple & areola correction, Brow enhancements, and many other permanent makeup services. I also teach courses as well if anyone is interested in learning what I do best. We focus on unlocking the inner beauty of each client that we touch. Over the past year, we have shifted our direction to help out plastic surgeons with their Breast cancer survivors using our Realism cosmetic tattooing. The 3D Areola tattoo is a work of art that looks like an authentic nipple. Shading, shadows and other artistic skills make the tattoos look just like real nipples, and helps patients feel confident in their breasts once again. The pigments used for 3D areola tattoos are formulated to create the most realistic appearance possible for each patient. Allure Beyond Beauty strives to customize a shade that resembles the patient’s native nipple and complements her natural skin tone. This is one of the reasons it is important to have a certified artist perform the procedure – there is an art to making each areola unique to each patient.

Not only do I provide great customer service, but we have alot of fun during our sessions. Don’t get me wrong I provide my expertise, but I let my clients be the Boss. They tell me what they want and I deliver every single time.

I’m excited how my business has grown simply by word-of- mouth and prayers. As I mentioned before, staring a business was scary and very uncomfortable. It was NOT easy. I was learning how to run a business while running a business. I wasn’t able to find a good balance between life and business. The amount of clients that were coming in didn’t add up to the money that was going out that I was spending on the business. I slowed down a few times, but I never gave up !!! I stayed true to myself and I allowed God to direct my path. I overcame my challenges by fasting and praying and staying to myself. A few lessons that I’ve learned along the way is that we will not have all the answers, so always be a student and be willing to learn something everyday. Move at your own speed. Don’t let social media make you think that you should be further along than you are right now. Trust the journey. It’s okay to take a pause, but make sure you get back to it and give it all that you got!

Keep God as your first priority and watch him shower blessings on the desires of your heart if it aligns with his will.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Food will for sure be on the itinerary. I’m such a foodie so we will have to visit spots that have a cute aesthetics such as “The Americano”, I love that place..I’ve been there more times that I should have! I also like Ray’s on the River, and I love Hibachi so we will have to visit Fumi Sushi Bar in Duluth, GA. I do love shopping too. Most of my shopping is done online, however, if the bestie is in town we may visit a few boutiques that are around. I do like walking on the Atlanta Beltline and laying around at Piedmont Park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First above all else, I wanted to Thank God who has ordered my steps. Without him, I would be a lost soul. He has given me the strength to face my daily challenges that come along with running a business. There are good and bad days in entrepreneurship, but with the grace, love, and mercy that he’s granted me has kept me afloat. I also want to thank the encouragements from my Grandparents, parents, my sister, my aunts and uncles, cousins, and my supportive friends, I don’t want to leave out the Surgeons that I’ve partnered with and the Breast Cancer community that show their support. Most importantly, huge thank you to all my current and future clients. Thank you ALL!
