Meet Rachel Kraus: skin care

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Kraus and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As I was working my 9-5 job I couldn’t shake the feeling of being held back and unfulfillment. So, I decided to combine a true passion of mine, skincare. With a need of the female community, hormone, period, and health issues. After much education, I realized how much one effects the other! I wanted to help women take back their health of their skin and hormones! I launched Dirty Peach, a hormone conscious and fertility safe skincare brand, and it was the best decision of my life!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own a skincare company called, Dirty Peach Skin! It’s not like any other skincare brand out there! We specifically focus on formulating products that work alongside the female physiology by leaving hormones undisturbed so they can work to fuel your body beautifully! So many products out there now a days are wreaking havoc on women’s endocrine systems and causing them hormone imbalances, more acne, and even infertility! We have studied the true nature of women’s bodies and are using cutting edge research to optimize women’s health and skin!
Getting to where we are was not easy! There is still so much education to be distributed in order to help women understand why this is such a big deal! We continue to educate women on social media platforms and throughout our daily interactions. But, if I’ve learned one thing it’s that what’s meant to be will be and I find peace in that! I believe that Dirty Peach is on to something BIG! We want to serve women in a way they’ve never been served before! They deserve to be educated and feel beautiful, healthy, and confident!!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places in georgia is actually Ball Ground!! My first stop would have to be the Burger Bus and then going for a walk around their park! Another great find near Atlanta would have to be Alma coffee! Mostly, though, we would hang out in downtown woodstock, the battery, or anywhere that brews beer!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ve got a lot of passion and determination, but I don’t usually have the right answers for how to grow my business. A fellow friend and mentor of mine, Elizabeth Savage, is due so much credit for the success of my business! Liz is a business coach through her onw company called, Fruitful Foundations. She pushed me to ask hard questions and gave me the advice and tools I needed to take my business to the next level. If it wasn’t for her I would still be miserable working my full time job. She was an incredible source of wisdom for me during my start-up phase (and even still!).
