We had the good fortune of connecting with Quiana Hairston, MFA and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quiana, how does your business help the community?
I offer logo design and branding services exclusively to small business owners and entrepreneurs in a time where I see many designers only wanting to work with big corporate clients who have larger budgets. I provide all my clients with an intimate branding experience, at a reduced price, and often with payment options. On top of that, I annually choose one individual or group to receive a free logo and brand strategy to elevate their mission. What started out as a way for me to feel fulfilled outside of my day job, has become the way I bless others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
During the day I work as a Graphic Designer within the commercial real estate industry. I design property brochures, signage, and proposals. Then at night, I’m the solo-designer and owner of Little Brown Studio. What really sets me apart from others in my line of work is my attitude and approach. I’m a very down-to-earth person and I make every interaction with others as genuine as possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Yes! If they like the outdoors, I’d recommend a trip to the Mason Mill Dog Park & Trail in Decatur. For food, you absolutely must grab some Ethiopian dishes and drinks at Feedel Bistro. If that’s not enough fun, I highly recommend going to sing karaoke in your own private room at Karaoke Medley in Doraville. And if you want to grab one more nice bite to eat before leaving the city, head to Johnny’s World Famous Chicken & Waffles in College Park. The perfect end to a great visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family. They really fostered me as a creative child and instilled the values of generosity and paying it forward within me. If God has blessed you, bless others.
