Meet Queen J.: Founder of The Queen Network, CEO of RHU, Film Director, Casting Director, Producer, Editor and Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Queen J. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Queen, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite affirmation is “I have control over my thoughts, feelings, and choices.” This affirmation is my favorite because I do not have control of other people actions or words but, I can control how I react to them. I am big on keeping a PMA (positive mental attitude) & knowing that I am the only person who can control my thoughts, feelings, and choices I can not allow someone else’s thoughts, feelings, or choices to affect mine. I am a Cancer, a born emotional human. With that being said, I feel everything. I feel for everybody but, I can control this with knowing what my definite purpose is and gearing my thoughts, feelings, and choices towards that. Keeping me on the right path. That is what the affirmation ” I have control over my thoughts, feelings, and choices” means to me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My first business is The Queen Network which is a production company that assist with the entire production process. We write, cast, shoot and distribute films. If you have a vision that you will like televised on The Queen Network our team will work with you to turn your vision into a reality. It was definitely not easy to get where I am. It took a lot of research, long hours, and dedication. I don’t believe I am even close to where I am heading. Along the way, I have learned that you cannot wait on a team you must work and do what you can and a team will find you. I always felt like I needed a group of people to assist with my success. Not to say this is not to be true, but, you cannot allow that to stop you or slow down the process. I want the world to know that my brand strives for greatness and the truth. We speak highly on transparency and unlimited communication. We provide a positive and enjoyable work environment and hope to work with some of you all in the future!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The most fun, interesting and exciting places or things to do for me is working out, playing pool, bowling, eating, and filming. I enjoy walking up stone mountain and traveling to different dog parks with my German shepherd dog. Honestly, I been stuck on the grind if I go out and it’s not to make money it has to be to eat or some type of contribution to work.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I will like to give a shoutout to Napoleon Hill and all of his great books. I will like to give a shoutout to my man who has been very supportive, patient and encouraging through these foreseen obstacles. I also will like to give a shoutout to my grandmother for always loving and supporting my goals. My grandmother is always pushing me to be a better woman. I will like to give a shoutout to my parents for not being involved in my success because if they were in my life I don’t believe I would have learned the important things needed to run a business due learning ways NOT to do it. My high school English teacher Mrs. Davis-Brown for never giving up on me and my college instructor Ms. McConico for always forcing me to go harder.
