We had the good fortune of connecting with Que Garner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Que, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I decided to start my business when Covid-19 initially hit. I have always wanted to have my own company but I was standing in my own way. I would make excuses as to why I wasn’t ready to launch and just wanted everything to be perfect. One day I woke up and i said to myself “just do it” there’s never going to be a perfect time for anything you just have to have faith. So from that point I launched my brand B.A.M Threadz which stands for By Any Means. Which is what i want people to be motivated by, i want people to follow their dreams no matter what obstacles may come your way, no matter how long it may take you keep pushing on towards your goal and bring that dream to reality By Any Means.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I want people to know that you can create and build your business same as I did you just have to take that first step. Once I took that intial step I haven’t looked back. I am always excited to think of new designs for my customers of all ages. I want to create a clothing line that you can look good in and feel great about the message behind it. B.A.M Threadz is meant to inspire and motivate people to continue on their paths By Any Means.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well I am a simple southern girl born and raised in Atlanta. I am very big on bringing the party and fun to me, but every now and then i like to cruise the city. I am very big on “All-in-ones” which is a spot where i can have the best of all worlds in one place, so thats somewhere I can eat, dance, and drink. So a few of those places would be Negril Village, BQE restaurant and lounge, Cirque Daiquiri Bar and im a southern girl so I need my soul food, for that I would visit Milk and Honey, Paschal’s, and Flying Biscuit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My support system is so large and I am just truly thankful for everyone who has supported me. If i had to narrow it done I would have to shoutout LS Create and Ship this company brings my designs to life i would recommend them to anyone looking to get there brand off the ground. Also I have to shoutout my favorite ATL photographer DaGodMd Photography he is responsible for all those high quality images that you see on my website and marketing photos on my social media page. These two companies have really been a major help to the launch of my brand. Please check them out www.lscreateandship.com and www.dagodmdphotography.com
