Meet Prophetess Cassandra Rainey: Minister of the Gospel, Entrepreneur, Author, Intercessor & Prayer Warrior

We had the good fortune of connecting with Prophetess Cassandra Rainey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Prophetess Cassandra, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
I am a firm believer that whatever is in my heart that I will be committed to seeing it through. I will remain determined to completing any task/project as long as it is in my heart to do so. Once my passion or I should say my desire to keep pushing has left then and only then will I withdraw from moving forward. One thing that I have discovered and know for sure is that my passion fuels my purpose that gives me the power to keep on moving forward. Once my desire to pursue anything task, project or assignment, my motivation/drive is no longer there. Therefore, I know longer have any interests in pursuing something where I have no desire or heart in obtaining these goals.

I am presently a Career Placement Specialist/Job Developer at Empowerment Pathways YouthBuild where I assist underprivileged youth and young adults begin 16-24 with career and job placement opportunities. It positions me to be able to motivate, encourage and life skills from communicating effectively , team building and interview skills. I am very grateful for this position to be able to help mold the lives of youth and young adults that they will reach their greatest potential. What I believe sets me apart from others is my ability to keep going no matter what. I do not believe in leaving any task undone. Once I begin I am determined to finish and finish strong. Whatever I am assigned to do, I make sure that my assignment is done and done in a spirit of excellence. I do not take any of my job duties or ministry assignments lightly. I consider it a privilege, honor and blessing to be able to help others in whatever capacity the Lord allows. To get to where I am right now I had to work hard and refuse to give up. No matter how rough things got, I had made up in my mind that I was not going to lose hope when the God I serve owns all, sees all and in control of all. Even in the midst of that, I still had to stay in a posture of prayer to be able to remain focused on my God-given purpose. My prayer life and my relationship with the Lord is what has gotten through over these 21 years in ministry. The road/path has been difficult/challenging but because of my faith in the promises of the Lord I have been able to persevere and stand because I definitely believe that no weapons formed against shall prosper. The Lord birthed a prayer ministry last May called, ” A New Day of Breakthrough Global Outreach Prayer Ministry.” Where the mission assigned is to strengthen the body of Christ through prayer for we know that there is power in the name of Jesus, Blood of Jesus, Word of God and in prayer. Praying continuously and devoting myself to prayer for leaders, families, mankind, lost and hurting, against demonic systems, body of Christ and whatever else the Lord leads to me intercede for. Vision Statement: To pray fervent, effective prayers by faith that will cause God to move mightily on behalf of His creation. I strongly that it is going to happen BY FAITH in prayer that we will see the Hand of God move in ways that will blow our minds. Beginning last September, I finally took a great leap of faith and started a small business called, “Keeping It Classy With Cassie” where I provide excellent customer service and jewelry pieces that represent the Sophisticated Queens that we are. Website coming soon… Facebook Page Keeping IT Classy With Cassie Email Address: keepingitclassywith cassie26@yahoo.com In the midst of starting my business, I finally published my first fictional novel called, “No More Suffering IN Silence” A story if Healing, Deliverance and Breakthrough. Broadway Jones, a young man whose mind was once held captive to depression and suicidal thoughts that caused him to walk around daily suffering in silence because he did not know how to handle the weight of being rejected and sexually assaulted by a close family relative. Feelings of despair and helplessness pushed him to the point of surrendering to the different voices that showed up continuously influencing him to take his own life. The battle in his mind dominated his every move and finally one evening Broadway decided this is it I can no longer take the pressure of my past haunting me both day and night. Broadway walked that night until he discovered what he thought was a quiet and good place to end it all. Instead of taking his life, it was there he met Jesus and surrendered to the will of God. He heard his mother’s words, “Let Go and Trust God.” The hurt, pain, sexual abuse, rejection, shame, guilt and suffering seemed to break off his life instantaneously. The next day he met Investigator Simons who would get him safely home. Even though he chose to remain on the streets, Broadway wanted more than anything to be home with his family. Because he chose to do things God’s way, not only was he reunited with his family but he received healing, deliverance and restoration through the power of God’s anointing! No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13, New Living Translation) Recognize you need Jesus Forget the past Embrace the New Healing, Deliverance and Restoration is Headed your Way!!! Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in a small town with very little entertainment areas, or favorite places of mine. Whenever my friends or family comes to town, we normally visit restaurants in the nearby cites about forty-five minutes away. We visit Cheddar’s, Shells Seafood, Red Lobster and Applebee’s after we have visited the shopping mall and other retail stores. During the warmer months, we can visit Lake Blackshear & Resort where we can do lunch out on a dinner cruise, go swimming in the lake or swimming pool if desired and ride Sam’s Train that travels from one town to another for sightseeing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this honor to my mother, Betty Ann Rainey who has been very instrumental in praying for me, encouraging as well as inspiring me to become a better person. She has been my teacher, advisor and greatest inspiration and still continues to be. Taught me how to become a strong and independent woman that I am today. I watched her through the good and bad times, keep going when I definitely believe she wanted to quit. Made sure I understood the principles of treating others as I would want to be treated. Most importantly, my mother showed me the importance of a personal relationship with the Lord that would keep me grounded and standing firm until this day. Because of her strong beliefs and prayer life, it helped her to keep going in the midst of adversity and those same qualities are doing the same for me!!!
