We had the good fortune of connecting with Precious Evans-Mallory and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Precious, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I feel the most important factor behind my success is being ambitious, going after what you want and not letting anyone or anything get in my way. I’ve had setbacks but the most important thing is to always keep going and I always remain positive, no matter if the situation is good or bad.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve been doing makeup for 4 years but I really didn’t take it serious until 2 years ago. I would just always promote, promote, and promote my work until more and more people started noticing, it definitely was discouraging at first because it would be times I wouldn’t get not one like or one booking but I always told myself just keep your foot on the gas and stay consistent and everything will pay off and one the main things I’ve learned through my journey is you can’t look for people to support you or believe in you , you gotta believe in yourself and your journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take her to Atlanta, it’s so much to do here and it definitely never gets boring. My favorite food spots are krab Queenz and they also have amazing drinks , Big Dave Cheesesteak is super good. Now for the nightlife sivas is the place to go hands down. They have the best hookahs drinks and food! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely feel behind every successful person is good support system, my friends and family have definitely been that! They’ve definitely been supportive since day one.
