We had the good fortune of connecting with Porsche Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Porsche, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When starting my business, I wanted to create a product that I myself would love. I also wanted to create something that would feel personal to my customers and something that had a positive impact on the environment.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an expresser. I express myself through the art of writing, through the art of food, on social media, at one point, in comedy. Having the courage to express oneself in whichever way feels like it has the most impact is never an easy thing to do. It’s even harder when that medium is forever shifting. WHat I’ve learned is that times are not like they once were and we can all do and pursue whatever we want for however long we want, and can be good at many things at the same time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I have friends visit me, I like to have a good balance between hot spots, sight seeing spots, and fave spots. So we’d eat at places like Nobu, craigs and catch. Catch a vibe at places like sunset tower, soho house and Harriets. Visit famous spots like Runyon Canyon, Santa Monica Pier and Lacma. And do some of my favorite locals things like hit up Underwood Farms, Modo Yoga and Fatburger.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shout out all of the women in my life who have supported me while I was able to support them in being the beautiful bosses they are and for showing my there’s a space for each of us to win, together.
