We had the good fortune of connecting with Pharah Sykes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pharah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Look around you and all the natural beauty this world has to offer.

For this reason, I believe God was an artist.
I want to be able to express my creativity that leave that kind of imprint on society.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
A recent friend of mines commented to me “This is your season. Believe it or not seasons change, so take advantage of it now before the season slips away.” Which has me thinking how can one stay relevant through changing seasons? I believe in essence a solid foundation is key. One must be passionate about their craft, understand how to turn their craft into consecutive revenue then you’ve unlocked unlimited vacation days because work will become fun.

I’m Pharah Sykes the founder of Brève Exclusivité and the TSA Community.

My passion has always been to create. Some art forms have been more prominent than others, but I enjoy being in artistic atmospheres. For a long time, I didn’t quite understand how I could do what I enjoy for a career. I started a business that I honestly had no passion for and made a tremendous amount of money consecutively. At that moment, I realize I always had the solution. However, i was protective and overthinking my craft that it was in fact me stopping my own blessings. Fast forward to the present, I have two brands that reflect my artistic vision and help others who struggle like I once did before.

Brève Exclusivité offers contemporary womenswear, art and home decor. Breve is best known for its elaborate trench coats and champagne dresses. The phrase Brève Exclusivité are French words which means briefly exclusive. We want you to enjoy a moment of exclusivity; to hold yourself to an elite standard of not being easily accessible to the general public. Breve is the epitome of elegance, grace, beauty and class. Breve women are confident without apology; seductive without being disrespected; and most importantly exclusive with no regards.

Ten years of experience in the creative industry with a plethora of trial and error. I’ve curated a community of like-minded individuals seeking guidance within their brand. The organization is called True Success Academy also known as TSA; the checkpoint to elevation. Think of TSA Community as a source for brands, creatives, travel, events and much more.

Although it may not be your season; it doesn’t mean you can’t prepare for that moment and the off season are important for reflection, observation and cheering on your peers. Since we know seasons change your winning season will come around again.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I really want to take a moment to shoutout my mom; you can call her Diva D. She has been the greatest mom, grandmom and overall support system I could have ever ask for. My mom is the reason I continue to be optimistic in the most unforeseen circumstances. She is the reason I have no excuses when task need to be completed. However, my mom recently passed away but I’m grateful to have experienced such an unconditional love. My mom would call me her favorite daughter but in reality, I was her only daughter and child. She would amuse me every time she called me that, but it did make me feel special too.

If you knew my mother like how I knew my mother; she went through several obstacles but never allowed her situation at any given time to control her character, disposition and positive outlook on life. She would remember everyone’s birthday, event or special occasion and made sure she knew you were thought about and loved. She had a smile that was contagious and everyone who had the chance to meet her loved her aura. When you look at me, I’m an epitome of her essence. I will continue to allow her essence and principles live on. To always treat others exceptional, be grateful even in the darkest hour and compassionate because the world could use it.

I love you mommy and I’ll forever hold you in my heart. – Your Favorite Daughter <3
