Meet Pepper Jones: Beauty Guru & Business Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Pepper Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pepper, so let’s start with how you started?
I started the concept of Stay Chic 4 Cheap, LLC while working at a call center in Georgia. The job site would actually let me sell products out of my cubicle and sell to the employees working in the call center, which is how I got my first client. My co-workers would walk by my cubical and purchase cosmetic items, fashion jewelry, custom orders, and more. Whatever I could purchase in bulk was sold at the call center site. It started out as a hobby to increase my personal income. Shortly after, I researched how to legitimize my business and took the proper steps to do so. I also found a location to service my clients and I have been running Stay Chic 4 Cheap, LLC successfully since 2016. I love to work hard and decided that entrepreneurship was definitely for me!

What should our readers know about your business?
My company, Stay Chic for Cheap, LLC, is incredibly unique because our main focus is to provide a way for “everyday” people to express their individual sense of style at an extremely affordable rate. Ranging from health & wellness, to cosmetics and fashion, at Stay Chic for Cheap, we pride ourselves in keeping up with the latest trends in luxury style and design. To get to where we are now took hard work. I spent lots of days planning and executing, not knowing how things would work out as a small business owner. I am most proud of myself for having the drive and confidence to go full-time as a business owner to support myself and my family independently. I would love the world to know that hard work pays off so don’t be afraid to go aim for the stars! I did it, and it is the best move I have made for my future! I’ve even been blessed with the opportunity to mentor and teach other ambitious small business owners how to build and develop their start up companies. In addition, it is extremely important to give back to the community and I am able to accomplish this by creating new opportunities for fundraising endeavors as well.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I really love the city of Atlanta! There is always something new and exciting to do! One of my favorite places to go is Localino. Localino is an amazing restaurant! I love the decor and the owner is hilariously funny! The entire experience is great and the food is amazing! I also enjoy visiting the Georgia Aquarium downtown. It is a magical place. I also love that I can visit free on my birthday! I’d definitely recommend visiting the Rooftop at the Overland in Hapeville, GA, which is right outside of Atlanta. The Rooftop at the Overland has a rooftop bar. Here, you can enjoy good company while watching the planes take off and watching Porsches drive the track. It is perfect for date night or girls night out. Definitely a place for a Boss to unwind and chill.
