We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrick Arnold and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrick, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Absolute freedom in creative expression and realization that I provided the talent that built the clientele base for these corporate franchises were the motor elements behind my decision to jump off the porch and into the world of entrepreneurship. At that point I felt disrespected and unappreciated enough to completely eradicate any and all fear. Just as they used me, I used the combined infrastructures of all the places I worked by taking bits and pieces of how they ran their businesses and used that information to structure my brand new baby. I focused on branding and decided my niche was going to be a service dedicated to well-being of women only. I crafted my technique to become a nurturing vessel of sensual touch and therapeutic relief using my professional knowledge of anatomy and personal knowledge of intimacy. I haven’t looked back since.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The massage industry is traditionally rigid and robotic. The same protocols and the same methods. If you’ve had one massage, you’ve had them all pretty much. I’m cut from a totally different cloth and go against the grain of your typical massage professional. I never refer to myself as a massage therapist, they are numerous and can be found everywhere. I am the massage artist because my flow is one of none. My technique is blended masterfully with the therapeutic relief of anatomical bodywork and the nurturing focus intimate touch of sensual attention. Combining the best of both worlds separates me from the boredom of the massage industry and the lack of substance in this new wave of “erotic” social media massage persons that has surfaced recently in the past few years. I am the 2019 World Championship Massage Western Freestyle Award Champion and Silver Medal Overall winner in a contest held in Copenhagen, Denmark of over 200 massage therapists from all over the world. This path was not always popular and I’ve been the subject of scrutiny amongst my peer group. Sensual massage is frowned upon because most are to mentally lazy to separate intimate therapy from sex and “happy endings” is all that comes to mind when it comes to my arena. But I’ve been able to overcome this stigma by being genuine and intentional in my approach. I give to my clients, rather than taking from them. Often there are women who suffer from early molestations, rape, abuse and neglect from the takers in their lives. So much to the point where they have become numb to benefits of loving touch. My technique brings them back to that feeling….to the point to where some burst into tears on the table. They never knew what they were missing. This talent is a gift, touch is my love language. My Braille when I’m having a body conversation. That’s why I named my company “Body Language Therapeutic Solutions” because it’s way more that’s involved than just a massage. I’m here to give women a way to escape. To give in to their body without having to give up their body. A place where I not only touch them…I feel them. Ultimate relief resides within this gift.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to recognize all of the women who embraced my work and allowed themselves the open minded freedom to trust me with the most vulnerable areas of their person (mind, body and soul). All the women who promote my work through word of mouth about their unique experience to others that provides comfort and confidence to women who may have a taboo belief built around sensual massage. My team of female creatives who I discuss marketing strategies with and last but not least my family for standing with me against all the naysayers.
