We had the good fortune of connecting with Paris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paris, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
School life balance: My balance has changed because I mainly focus on my business on weekends and my school work during the week. If there are orders that need to be filled during the week, my mother helps me by filling those orders.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m is an ambitious 11 year old entrepreneur who is the owner of ParisPlaceLLC. I sell lip gloss in 10 different flavors made by myself which are vegan and gluten-free, 7 different air freshener fragrances along with keychains, bracelets that i I hand make and T-Shirts with my logo. I started this business because wanted to make products people will use every day. I recently made history by becoming the youngest entrepreneur to have a business apart of the Chamber of Commerce for Rockdale-Conyers. The board of commissioners for Rockdale Conyers Georgia proclaimed January 18, 2022S Paris recognition day. My products are currently sold at Ad Beauty and Hair on Conyers GA, Remi Rocket Candles in Conyers GA, Simply Naked Candles in Conyers GA, Queen B’s Beauty Mart in Rogers, Arkansas and Abundant Life Church in Virginia. My ribbon cutting was just featured on Atlanta’s WSB-TV Channel 2 and Channel 11 Alive News October 5th, 2021. On November 5, 2021 I was interviewed by The Atlanta’s V-103 morning show to talk about my successful business. On November 19th, I did a interview and had an article written about her on NPR (National Public Radio).
When I’m not in school or just being a kid, I’m devoted to getting my brand nationally and internationally known.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting me I would take them to the trampoline park and skating because I enjoy to do both of those things on the weekends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to several individuals. First person being my grandfather. He has been there for me since I started my business, helping in the background. I would like to also thank my grandma “NaNa”. I started selling air fresheners and body oils with her at the age of 7. I would also like to thank Demond and Raven Smith for always helping me prepare for what’s to come in this business industry.
