We had the good fortune of connecting with Paris Gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paris, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was creating a brand to make everyone feel as glamorous as I do.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created a lip gloss brand that was starting while I was at Tuskegee University. My brand empowers glamor and making you feel glamorous with every application. I am most proud that I stayed determined and allowed myself to keep pushing through with the brand. I got where I am by listening to my mentors, its not easy I still have my days where I wanna give up and others where I feel on top of the world. I overcome challenges by remaining very optimistic ands listening to motivational speeches. I’ve learned that everyone does not see your vision and thats fine, you may think your products because they are your products but how do these products affect the community. I would love the world to know about me, I am a 23 year old entrepreneur, model, professional roller skater thats going to break generationally wealth to make my community better.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite place to hang out is the Atlanta Beltline, there are a variety of food places, drink places, skate park and etc. You can also exercise while on the beltline if you wanted to.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost God the man upstairs gets all the praise and glory, without him I would be nothing. Secondly, my mother and father, for allowing me to chase my dreams. My friends known as my second family for pushing me and keeping me motivated to achieve my goals. Lastly, my skate family, I thank you guys for supporting me heavily.
