We had the good fortune of connecting with OMP GiN. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi OMP, what matters most to you?
I really have a few, it’s hard to name one. Respect, freedom and flexibility is what I live by though. I feel like if you’re flexible, you’re able to give and receive respect from any angle. Freedom is big to me as well because I think it’s vital for people just do what you want to do (as long as you not harming nobody, of course). We as a people are so confined to labels, and status and everything else that doesn’t matter. True happiness is being able to be free and be you, despite the odds that are against you.

Though I’ve always had a knack for music. I finally started experimenting with making my own back 2018 while I was enlisted in the Navy. Living alone in Maryland, writing songs had turned into an escape for me after long days of what seemed like hell at the moment. Fast forward to 2020, I pack all my things, and move here to Atlanta. No job or plan really, I just knew that I wanted to my artistry to the next level. The journey hasn’t been peaches and cream but it’s cool with me though. I remain proud of how I’ve maneuvered through the the adversities of life so far and im just excited about what the future holds for me as an artist but this is really only the beginning.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m really a homebody and don’t be out in the city as much as I should but we would definitely have to hit up Revery VR Bar. And we eating at Papi’s Cuban Grill like 4 days out the week.
