We had the good fortune of connecting with Olyasha Novozhylova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olyasha, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m originally from Mariupol, Ukraine, the city that became world-famous, but in a very sad way. I came to US when I was 17, over 16 years ago.

Even though I was born in Ukraine, my first language was Russian, as everyone else’s at that part of Ukraine.

I can say that by growing up in Ukraine, I went through so many struggles and challenges that made me strong, and made me who I am today.

Growing up overseas make you independent at the early age, and really helped me down the road. I’ve got my first job, selling cosmetics at the age of 13, later on I’ve had a team of 5 employees working under me, and that’s how I’ve learned about an entrepreneurship at the early age.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
