We had the good fortune of connecting with Olivia Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olivia, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor in my success. I would have to say is God and my family. I started my business to show my daughter that anything is possible. I want her to follow her dreams. I’m very close with my family. I want to create an empire for my family. I want to fall in love with generational revenue. Give back to my community. I want to serve my purpose in this world. I also want to use my platform to bring people closer to God. He has a huge impact in my life. I’m very optimistic about my future, especially with God by my side every step of the way. Knowing he’s with me, I know there’s nothing but greatness ahead.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my entrepreneur journey in 2019. I started out selling phone cases and accessories. Then, I got my LLC and made it a business. The name of my business is BOUIJETTO. I consider my self bouijee and ghetto. I’m the best of both worlds. That’s how I created the name. It has an unique ring to it. Eventually, I tapped into the wholesale sites industry. I begin taking trips to Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta to find inventory for my business. I will admit, business was great. Unfortunately, just a year later covid-19 was our reality. I had to weather the storm and continue to stay positive for the sake of my business. I did eventually take a break to refocus, rebrand, and regroup my options. I created a new brand which I’m naming in honor of my birthday. This new brand name is Eleven 21. I’m extremely excited for this new adventure/journey. I can feel doors opening for me and my businesses. I’m currently in the process of relocating to Atlanta. I visited this city for the first time my freshman year in high school. It might sound cliche, that was the moment I fell in love with this city. The southern hospitality won me over without a question. I look forward to my journey with God in this new city l. May it bring extreme joy, success, opportunities, and connections. I feel breakthroughs this upcoming year. I couldn’t be more happy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to create an itinerary for my best friend, it would include. I would may sure we visit all my favorite black owned restaurants. Some of my favorite restaurants include Toast on Lenox, American Deli, Roc South Cuisine, Southern Kitchen, and Big Daves cheesesteak. The botanical garden is also a must for activities. One of my favorite spots to have a drink is drawbaratl. The views are awesome and great vibes. I like the night scene as well. I’ve been to most clubs/gentlemen clubs in Atlanta. Magic City Mondays for the win.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
If I had to chose someone who made a huge impact on where I’am today. I would have to say my grandmother. She passed away in 2014 to cancer. She was the glue in my family. She was the type of women who opened her doors to everyone. If you need a bed to lay in she had one. If you needed a meal to eat, she made it. My grandmother was a super women. She took care of my entire family. My mother and uncle use to do drugs. My grandmother was the women who picked up their slack to make sure me my siblings and cousins were well taken care of. It shook my entire family finding out the strongest person in our family was in so much pain. We didn’t understand it. I know God has a reason for everything. I trust him with everything in me. I had to see he had a bigger picture in mind. I’ve never loved like I do with the lord. He is my savior.
