Hi Oleithea, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I’m all about taking risks. Settling for the ordinary just isn’t my style. I’ve gone after things that might seem out of reach, and you know what? Those risks have been the stepping stones to my success. They’ve taught me more than I can put into words and given me a confidence boost like nothing else.

I was born in Jamaica but moved to the U.S. when I was young. Seeing people leave their homes to start anew here, despite the uncertainty, left a lasting impression. They taught me that the risk of the unknown is often better than sticking with the familiar hardships. It’s a lesson I’ve carried with me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m currently rocking the real estate scene in Georgia, but believe me, my life’s been a whirlwind of adventures. Real estate’s been a lifelong passion since my pre-teen days. Sure, it can be a profitable gig, but what really gets me going? The vibes, the connections, the “feels.” I’ve got this knack for seeing past the surface, diving deep into who people truly are. It’s that human bond that sets me apart.

When I’m in, I’m all in—your dreams, your goals, they’re mine too. No stone goes unturned, no option unexplored. This journey’s been a mosaic of years, trials, and hurdles—both personal and professional. It’s been far from a smooth sail, but boy, has it been fulfilling. I’ve learned that challenges are like steps taking me higher, not walls blocking my way. It’s all about perspective, really. Turning setbacks into stepping stones, learning even if the outcome’s not what I planned.

I’m a wearer of many hats. When we work together, consider yourself part of the family. I pour my heart into the service I provide, and you bet, results follow my hustle. My character and attitude? They’re my secret weapons for building bridges that withstand time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Absolutely, I’d craft a week full of unforgettable experiences for my bestie! First off, we’d indulge in some phenomenal cuisine. Capital Grille would be our go-to for upscale dining and celebratory moments, while Halcyon’s Ocean & Acre would satisfy our oyster cravings. South City Kitchen in Buckhead is a must for incredible food and drinks.

For entertainment, the Mercedes Benz stadium would set the stage for epic concerts, game nights, and some pretty cool viewing parties. I would also balance it out with some creativity—Painting With a Twist in Alpharetta is our artsy escape.

For something more relaxed, we’d hit the local scene. Alpharetta’s Farmer’s Market on weekends offers a mix of yummy food, live entertainment, and plenty of socializing. We are both nature lovers so Big Creek Greenway would be our serene sanctuary for walks, while Fowler’s Park hosts our perfect picnic.

Indulgence is key too! Cassie’s Cakes would be our go-to for sweet cravings, and when the sun’s blazing, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice would be my choice for something cool and delicious.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My close friend Mālēk, whom I’ve known since high school, is like a beacon of positivity in my life. She’s been my partner in prayer, my rock when things get tough, and my sounding board for all sorts of things. Our journey together has shaped who I am today. Mālēk’s presence has been unwavering through every high and low, and her ability to navigate challenges with elegance has been truly inspiring.

In a moment of vulnerability, she gifted me a Bible in my favorite color, a gesture that lifted me up during a difficult time. Even when she was facing her own struggles, she stood by my side. Friendships of this depth are precious to me.

Mālēk’s character is truly exceptional. She consistently offers fresh perspectives, uplifting words, and pushes me beyond my comfort zone. Her influence in my life is immeasurable, and I treasure her unwavering friendship.
