We had the good fortune of connecting with Donalia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Donalia , we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
By taking a risk, you are facing the fear of the unknown. I approach risk with faith. It has shown me that a lot of the times our biggest opportunities are just on the other side of that risk we need to take.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Please Tell us more about your Art: I created a wonderful platform called Ohdollynetworks, this company is my prize possession. It is a platform that discovers and promotes raw talent, entrepreneurs, and passion driven creators.

What sets me apart from others?
I grow and thrive off sharing knowledge, connections, and experiences. I love being in the entertainment world, but I’ve noticed a lot of the time trying to break into it may leave you feeling like a crab at the bottom of the barrel. There is enough opportunity for everyone and it’s my purpose to show people how to go for it.

What you are most proud of or excited about?
I am most proud about how far I’ve come, like many people my journey has not been easy. I am extremely excited about where God is taking me. I am new to ATL, and I have already been blessed with the opportunity to work on projects with major companies like BET.

How did you get to where you are today professionally? Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
I got where I am today by simply being me, staying focused, networking and being willing to learn something new. Nothing that’s worth it is ever easy, I’ve lost a lot, but I’ve gained even more.

What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?
I’ve learned to give my goals the same amount of time and energy I use to give my distractions. I’ve also learned that what you focus on is what you will attract, so keep a positive mind and feed yourself what would give you nourishment, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am a product of walking by faith and not by sight. I have gotten very far in life by networking and sharing my journey. You never know who you’re talking to and how they can contribute to your future. My brand is an opportunity that creates more opportunities.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
