We had the good fortune of connecting with Norman Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Norman, what matters most to you?
Authenticity matters to me. So many people are out here creating a false reality and not realizing that there are real people looking up to them and wondering what it is that they are doing different. If it wasn’t for me being myself as a personal assistant to my now business partner, I would not have had the chance to showcase my desire to journey in this direction.

What should our readers know about your business?
The best thing about my business is the FOOD! lol We change up the menu every season to make sure we are giving out the BEST and FRESHEST food Conyers have ever seen. I know everyone sale Lamb chops, however ours are the best. It’s the secret recipe that makes it the best lol.  We really try to bring the flare that Atlanta have to the city of Conyers. I really feel like the area is up and coming, to be apart of the future of Conyers is an amazing feeling.

What got me to where I am today would be Authenticity. So many people are out here creating a false reality and not realizing that there are real people looking up to them and wondering what it is that they are doing different. If it wasn’t for me being myself as a personal assistant to my now business partner (Garis Eddington), I would not have had the chance to showcase my desire to journey in this direction. Before meeting Garis, I was an investment banker, I always thought I would retire with the company I was with. If it wasn’t for Garis showing me his entrepreneur mind I would still be behind a desk. The hardest thing for me to survive in the hospitality world was learning that everything does not have to be structured or have a structured schedule. I am a very structured person, so learning to go with the flow or go as things are coming to you was very different from me, when i left the corporate world.

The most important factor behind myself is being able to take what I have learned and share them with other young professionals looking to be business owners. It is important to me that I share my wisdom and knowledge with other like-minded individuals looking to advance in this industry. Sometimes reading a testimony is just not enough motivation to start your own business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in the city would have to be Hide Kichen and Cocktails on Monday for Industry night, this gives everyone in the hospitality industry to come together and have a good time with drinks and Karaoke. I also love to walk the Beltline all day, especially in Atlanta’s spring and fall that’s when the weather is perfect. Walking going to the at one of my favorite restaurants like Two Urban Licks. Iam loyal to Atlanta Midtown scene, coming from Richmond VA i feel I have to be in the mix of it all. Shopping and eating at Ponce City Market has always been the perfect date for me, because its just so much to do like be a kid, try different food, and also SHOP.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have a few people near and dear to me that I’d love to shoutout. First, my mom! She exemplified what true hard work and dedication is. She was the nicest person and with her example of kindness, I know how to impart love and light to those around me. Secondly, my business partner Garis Eddington. We’ve formed a brotherhood that can’t be duplicated. The way his mind works has inspired me to think outside of the box. I admire him for that. Lastly, I’d love to shoutout my brother Ke’vaughn . Seeing how passionate he is about his business and how he continues to learn and perfect his skills, inspires me to want become the best business owner I can be.
