We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Stephens and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikki, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Revive came into being from a lifelong passion for fashion and style coupled with my desire to create something I didn’t really see in the market. I love fashion. I always have. Putting outfits together is so much fun for me. It’s an expression of who I am to the world, and when I’m dressed in something that I love, I feel my best. And that’s what we’re all after in this life, right? To feel our very best. So after years and years of having this dream no one knew about to have my own business sourcing and selling amazing pieces found on my thrifting trips, I finally decided to go for it. At the end of 2022, I made up my mind to give this a go and I’m so glad I did! I truly think my shop is offering something unique to the secondhand market. The pieces in my collection are of the highest quality and feel very contemporary. I want everything I put into the shop to feel like it could easily sit in department stores today, and that’s one of the core things that sets Revive apart from most of what’s out there in the seconhand space. I’m also a huge advocate of style over brand names, so I will always have a mix of known brands and brands no one has ever heard of because the quality and style of the garment is always first and foremost – not the name on the tag. And you’ll always see some specific things in heavy rotation in the shop because I personally think they’re must-have wardrobe staples – oversized boxy blazers, lived-in denim, better basics and tasteful sparkles (think beautifully hand-beaded jackets). Beyond the collection, I also offer wardrobe upleveling services as another way to help you create the wardrobe of your dreams. This includes personal sourcing, wardrobe editing, and wardrobe styling. I really just want to help people by doing something that I’m really good at, have an amazing eye for and is so much fun for me. The fact that I can do this thing that I love and help people feel better is really incredible, and I hope that Revive continues to find its way into the lives of more and more people who want and need what I’m offering.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Revive is all about feeling your very best. Through my premium secondhand shop & wardrobe upleveling services, I’m here to help you create the wardrobe of your dreams. And that just means curating a closet full of things that bring you joy when you put them on, because when that happens, you really do move through life differently. Dressing in a way that you love and feels good to you makes you feel like a better version of yourself. And that beautifully dominoes into actually being a better version of yourself. Because how you feel affects how you think and act, and those things affect who you become. Revive is about breathing life into your highest self. Pretty amazing how clothes can do that, right? But man oh man, they do. My hope is that I continue to connect with people who love my shop & my mission, and I get to help people every single day to feel their very best.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Gosh, I could name so many people, practices and resources here. But my biggest and most heartfelt shoutout would have to go to Natalia Benson, an incredible business & money mentor whose work has genuinely changed my life. Natalia is a brilliant teacher who beautifully melds spirituality and practicality. She’s an astrologer, tarot reader and super successful business owner, and she shares her talents, expertise and insight in such a powerful, effective way. She’s definitely doing her life’s work right now and helping so many people do the same. Her work and guidance has taught me so much and has really empowered me to become the most magnetic, successful version of myself. I highly recommend following her on IG (@natalia_benson) and looking into all the ways she has to work with her (nataliabenson.com).

And I also have to give a huge amount of love and appreciation to Pete, my amazing boyfriend and the absolute love of my life. He is my biggest supporter and fully believes in me and my vision for Revive. I’m so grateful for him every single day.
