Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What Sets Us Apart

Our salon is centered on delivering an exceptional, personalized experience for every client who walks through the door. We pride ourselves on blending the latest techniques with a welcoming, supportive environment that feels like a second home for our clients. Quality and care are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to make each visit memorable and rejuvenating. We’re also very mindful about using high-quality, sustainable products that are good for both our clients and the planet.

My Journey

Starting this business was a dream come true, but it hasn’t always been easy. There were many challenges, from securing funding to navigating the competitive market. Building a loyal client base and curating our service menu took time, patience, and determination. Every step brought its own set of obstacles, but my passion for what I do kept me pushing forward.

Overcoming Challenges

The support of my husband has been instrumental. He’s always been there to brainstorm with me and help lift me up during tough times, especially in the early days. Another big factor was learning to adapt. When things didn’t go as planned, I learned to pivot, rethink my strategies, and make improvements. Being flexible and open to change allowed us to keep moving forward and growing stronger.

Lessons Learned

I’ve learned that resilience and perseverance are essential for any business owner. Another big lesson has been the importance of truly connecting with clients. Building real relationships not only helps the business thrive but also makes the work deeply fulfilling. Finally, I’ve learned the value of having a supportive clientele where everyone feels valued.

What I Want the World to Know

I want the world to know that our salon is more than just a place for beauty treatments. It’s a space where clients can feel pampered, confident, and cared for. My goal has always been to make a difference in people’s lives, even if it’s through something as simple as a deep cleansing shampoo by candlelight or a scalp massage. I’m grateful for each client who trusts us and allows us to be part of their loc journey.

Thank you again for giving me the chance to share my story. I’m excited for what the future holds for our salon and for the opportunity to keep growing alongside our wonderful clients.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As I’ve worked to establish and grow Get Twysted salon, my husband and my children has been my biggest advocate and cheerleaders.

From the start, my husband believed in my vision even when challenges arose. Whether it’s helping with the logistics, financing, brainstorming new ideas, or simply encouraging me on tough days, he’s always there with unwavering support. His encouragement has been key in pushing through difficult times, and his insights have often helped me see things from a fresh perspective.

He’s been a constant source of motivation and strength, and knowing he’s in my corner gives me the confidence to keep striving for success. I am so grateful for his partnership in every sense of the word.
