We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Sanguinetti and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, what principle do you value most?
The value that matters most to me and what I teach to my students and clients is living authentically in your truth. I firmly believe that we all have a unique magic within us, one that we are born with. It is this unique magic that guides us towards our life’s purpose. We were not all meant to come here to be the same, do the same and act the same as everyone else. We are here to live authentically in that unique magic and share it with the world every day. In what we do, in who we help, in who we show up as…it must always be in our truth. This is they key to living a happy and fulfilling, soul led life!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My business and brand, Love, Light & Magic, is centered around intuitive healing and soul coaching. My business has gone through many shifts and changes as I have grown personally and professionally. When I first started stepping into this work, I was only doing oracle card and angel card readings. Deep down I knew that I wanted to do more and make a bigger impact helping others, but I wasn’t sure how to just yet. It was during these card sessions when my intuitive side would take over and the session became more than just answering my clients question! Soon I was mentoring them and guiding them on how to achieve certain goals, how to step into their own intuitive gifts and how to take steps to heal the “shadow” aspects of their lives. That was when the light bulb went off! Soul Coaching! I knew that when I had stumbled across that “a-ha” moment, everything was falling into place. Before I had realized that this was how I felt most called to show up and serve the greater good, I was lost and confused on who I truly was and what I was meant to do. I went through deep and profound changes personally that made it clear…I had more soul work to do on my own. The moment when I gave in to the universe and asked spirit to guide me was the moment my own “shadow” was revealed to me. Looking at the parts of me that were made up of ego, fear and anxiety, gave me the strength, courage and hope to heal myself so that I could help others. I think many of us often look to the world outside of us, see others finding success, clarity and happiness and think that it’s going to be easy to achieve that with little work. We live in a society where instant gratification is the norm. But success and growth are not a linear process. There are many ups and downs. There are highs and lows. There are rock bottom moments and there are incredible celebrations. They all require two things…commitment and hard work. I committed myself to doing the deep inner healing work on myself so that I could be the best teacher, mentor and guide for others in the most loving, high vibe version of myself that I could be. I had struggles along that way and there were many days when I wanted to throw in the towel and give up. But then I would remember why I started…to heal so that I could help others! I learned that when your heart and soul are calling you to do something…it’s for a reason! You are meant to listen to that calling, to follow your heart and say yes to your truth no matter what. If we ignore it, we forget who we are and what we came to this world to do. Love, Light & Magic is dedicated to helping you remember who you are, remember your unique magic and learn to love yourself unconditionally as you say yes to shining your light into the world!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My absolute favorite place in my hometown is Santa Cruz, California! I am a beach girl at heart and connecting with the energy of the ocean heals me in so many ways. The people are friendly and inviting, the vibe is always so high and the energy is fantastic! My favorite things to do in Santa Cruz, Ca include: Long walks down Westcliff Ave. Exploring the tide pools at Natural Bridges state park. Walking on the Municipal Wharf to visit the sea lions and grab my favorite sweet treats at Marini’s. Visiting the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk to ride my favorite rides, challenge my husband to a game of mini golf and play carnival games to win silly prizes. Such a great way to reconnect with your joy and have fun! Hiking in the redwoods at Henry Cowell state park. Indulging in the best breakfasts at Heavenly Roadside Cafe in Scott’s Valley. (The BEST waffles your will ever have, I know, I am an expert!) Investing in my growth and learning at 1440 Multiversity in Scott’s Valley with my favorite teachers and through transformational weekend learning experiences. These are a few of my favorite things!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My spiritual mentor Brenda Rodriguez was the person to help me understand, learn and open up to my intuitive gifts and abilities. For years I struggled with debilitating anxiety. When I found Brenda and began working with her, a whole new world was opened for me. Through working with her I learned that my intuitive gifts and energy sensitivity were a huge part of the reason I was suffering from my anxiety. With her guidance and mentoring, I learned to harness my gifts, love myself unconditionally and live authentically in my truth. It was through my healing experience with her that I realized I wanted to do this work as well. To hold space, to help others heal and learn to love their truth. I am who I am and where I am because of Brenda and I am forever grateful for her!
