We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole O’Rear and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
In my journey as an entrepreneur & mom, I’ve often found myself wondering if what I’m doing is enough. Am I present enough for our girls, have I served our business, our team members, our community, friends, enough? It’s never ending. While my answer to that waivers by day… YES. It’s all enough because every day I choose to SHOW UP. I show up with as much as I can, as often as I can, with all of who I am. Even on the hardest of days the most difficult step to take is to SHOW UP and be willing to offer what you have and who you are. That’s looks different for everyone because we’re all wired differently. I think that’s one of the most important things our girls can take from being a part of this with us. I hope they see resilience and choose it. I hope they choose to SHOW UP with all they are, especially when they have no idea how it will turn out, with confidence in who are.

What should our readers know about your business?
With a heart for business, community and celebration, my husband Kyle and I set out to build a co-working and event space that would allow us to offer space for all 3. Our invitation is to the entrepreneur, the creative, the dreamer, the expert, the newbie, the for profit, the non-profit, the figuring out, and the figured out. With dedicated office spaces, an inviting co-working environment, conference rooms, and event space (available nights and weekends), we’ve been able to see businesses flourish and others be celebrated well.

Pop.In is a result of 10 years of looking for inspiring spaces to host annual/ quarterly/ team meetings, trainings, client presentations, having the need for unique office space, etc and coming up with very limited options. These years and frustrations led to the dream that is Pop.In today.

The most encouraging thing for us is to watch people take us up on the call to POP.IN & make themselves at home. It’s an incredible honor, that we do not take lightly, to build our new business along side other entrepreneurs that entrust us to create the space where their businesses grow.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite part of living in Cumming, GA is the proximity to fun within an hour of home.

Places we’d eat: Marie’s Deli. Mambo’s Cafe. Thai Basil. Arepita Cafe. Homestead. Sawnee Mountain Biscuit Co. CT Taqueria. Eclipse di Luna. Rina’s (at Avalon)
Drink: The Loft. Crooked Culture. Farmhouse Coffee
Hang out: Sawnee Mountain. The Cumming City Center. Halcyon. Treasure hunting in Cleveland. Dahlonega Square.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My people. My husband who’s my wing2 all day! My parents who modeled love and incredible work ethic. My friends who SHOW UP day in and day out. The people who’ve empowered me to own, create and do… my MIL, IBB, Avalon, Renew Properties… THANK YOU. My beautiful girls who are the very best cheerleaders.
