We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Levell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to have more control of my time. I wanted to be able to control the time I spent with my son and husband. And I was over having to ask permission to do something else besides work. Ultimately, I wanted to redirect my skills as a brand strategist and marketer to help women in business who did not have the knowledge or resources available to grow their brand.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

My mission is to teach women how to build a strategic foundation for their brand. And my supporting vision is to make branding and marketing easy for female entrepreneurs. I get so excited when my clients can visually see how the strategies I develop for them are going to be implemented to build their brand identity. This makes my clients feel confident and secure. I’m most proud of the fact that my work makes them love their brand again. Currently, I’m excited about setting up systems for my clients to design their Brand DNA and plan their content on auto pilot.

My services include a VIP Brand Mentorship, where I work 1-on-1 with a brand. The focus of the mentorship is to help clients gain clarity on their brand identity, messaging and content. The mentorship includes a Brand Strategy call, 12 weeks of support, new Brand design, website design, strategy, identifying brand pillars, marketing plan and custom content for social media, email marketing, website and more. I also offer a VIP Day for brands who want more tactical support.

For the past 14 years I have worked in various corporate roles as an advertiser, digital strategist and brand strategist. I gained a lot of knowledge on how to reach the perfect audience online and the impact of leveraging digital marketing to connect with brand advocates and increase revenue. I was determined to combine my knowledge and experience to guide female entrepreneurs in revamping their brand to represent their expertise in their industry.

It has not been easy to make such a transition, especially since I’ve always worked on teams, and now I am a team of one. But I love that I can control the strategic and creative direction of projects.

My biggest lesson is the importance of time management and being specific in what I offer my offer clients, especially in contracts.

With women owning 40% of US businesses, it’s important to me to be a change agent in helping women advance the goals of their brand. I teach women to be authentic to their brand. Doing it alone is hard. I am here and ready to help.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Haha! It’s COVID so we would be in the house. All jokes aside, I am a huge movie buff. So we would go to the movies, specifically an AMC Fork and Dine. We would plan brunch and dinner out for a few nights, Bar Taco, Poor Calvins (a must!), a traditional ATL wing spot and a few places that have amazing drinks. We would start everyday at Starbucks (YES).

I am an extrovert, so these last two years have been rough. Now I have to research all the really cool places to go to have fun. We would definitely go to a place that has adult sized games, so we would visit The Battery at Truist Park. And depending on who’s in town, we would go to Fetch so we can eat and drink outdoors and bring my dog, Thor.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, Michael, has been my ROCK! He not only supports me, but he has given me the latitude to walk away from corporate. He offers ideas that inspire me, shows interest in my clients and helps me with research. He is amazing! My son has given me the strength to be my own boss. He really looks up to me and I don’t want to miss a moment with him.

My family have been HUGE supporters! And not just the ones related by blood. I cannot tell you the amount of texts, emails and calls I get encouraging me to push on and keep going. My parents, sisters and sister-in-law, specifically – Ashley, Marqueva, Christal and Sandy have encouraged me every day of this journey.

Lastly, my clients. They have believed in me and the vision of Elocin Marketing.
