We had the good fortune of connecting with Nia Spratt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my business was this is crazy nobody is going to buy fruit trays. Like you can get stuff like this from edible arrangements. But, I went on a started my business and have been Successful with my journey. Of course I have my ups & downs like any other business owners. Its about the drive & motivation to keep pushing.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets my business Sunflowerfruitsllc apart from everyone else is its not your typical fruit trays. You get pick and choose the fruits you want from basic to exotic its your choice. No, my journey was not easy while starting my business I became a Mother July 3, 2020 at the peak of this COVID-19 pandemic. As being a first time mother adjusting to the changes was hard on top of battling postpartum depression. I want to give up plenty of times. But, looking in my daughter eyes I knew it was not a option. I want the world to know it doesn’t matter what your craft is and if multiple people already do the same thing embrace your craft and just do it!!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, fortunately my bestfriend Aujlyn lives in the same city as me which is Atlanta. If we our hanging out we would of course go somewhere with goooood for & drinks.
One of favorite places to go is “New Orleans Daiquiri Bar & Grill in Atlanta.
The food is great & their frozen drinks are amazing. Also, if the place doesn’t have hookahs just throw the whole place away.
But, our favorite place does so its a triple threat and combination for a good time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes, definitely want to thank my significant other Quinntin. He really pushed me to get my LLC and really start my business. One of biggest support systems!
