Meet Netanjea “Nikki” Robinson | Blessed Bead Queen

We had the good fortune of connecting with Netanjea “Nikki” Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Netanjea “Nikki”, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In starting Just Bead It 627 I knew that I wanted to expand my creativity while also using a talent and treasure that was going to reach people in their every day lives, and things that they are going through. God laid it upon my heart to start a waist bead company, and at first I was like everyone has one of those Lord he said yes, but I bless you with the ability of prayer. God exposed to me that I have been looking for a way to touch others in my purpose and he made it sure that I was able to do it as well as provide my creativity. I ask each customer what they are seeking and pray over their beads. It was indeed my conversation with the Lord that lead me to where I am today.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Currently, I am an Advisor for Western Governors University. Working within Higher Education has always been my passion. I gain so much by coming in contact with our students. Listening to their stories and reinforcing positivity into their lives to keep striving for excellence.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh my they know I am pretty low key these days, but a great time whenever they come. I know tons of hidden gems I love to store in my Yelp bookmarks. I love going to this one spot called Impulse in Gwinnett. This spot has so much to offer: drinks, food, hookah, karaoke, etc.
See y’all got me sharing spots! Now I won’t have anywhere to sit! Lol

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give glory to God for my vision and my family as well as friends that show continued support. I also want to say thank you to my Just Bead It 627 Family for entrusting me with your bead journey.
