We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Trinidad and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trinidad, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose to pursue an artistic/creative career because that’s something that’s always been a part of me. Since I was like 4 or 5 years old I was writing my own songs, I played the violin, trumpet, drums, I was singing at assembly’s, even my high school graduation. I was even acting, directing and editing my own funny videos with my cousin.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m really excited about everything that’s still to come. I have so much new music that I’m really excited to share with the world. I’m also super happy the strike is over and I can get back to working on set. It wasn’t easy to get to where I am today, and although I’m appreciative to be where I’m at, I still have a lot of work to do to get to where I want to be. Life is always going to have its obstacles, but the most important thing I learned throughout my journey is to maintain faith; or hope or anything positive to keep moving forward.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely go to some touristy places first, get that out the way. Must see tourists spots are: MLK (of course), his church, memorial and all of the to do with the King is a must see! Also, the Coca-Cola factory. So much history there, plus you get to try all types of different flavors. Waffle House! Especially, after a late night out. Rum Punch Brunch is definitely a winner. We would be eating non stop. Lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents are the best. They’ve always supported me. From lessons, to showing up at every concert, encouraging me always to chase my dreams! They invested so much money, time, love and energy into myself and my siblings interests, I can’t thank them enough. But the least I can do is thank them by being the best I can be!
