We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Luisa with ATL Royal Services and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalie Luisa with ATL, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Back in 2008 I was going through some hardships. The Real Estate market had crashed and I had no idea where life was going to take me. So, in 2008, I decided to move to Atlanta and live in a big city in hopes for a change. I didn’t know anyone in ATL nor did I know much about the city – just a single mom trying to raise her child. I needed a change in my life, I had grit and hope, and that was enough to get me started. At that moment I knew God had bigger plans for me.  I had a steady and reliable job working for a boutique real estate company. I was blessed enough to have an amazing boss/mentor/leader who was very supportive and encouraging. In 2010, I noticed there was a huge opportunity in the foreclosure business but there were not a lot of risk takers.  I knew that I had a great opportunity to be able to combine my dedication, with my experience, and my will-power so that I could benefit the real estate industry; therefore, without giving much thought, I went all in.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

We are a real estate photography business, from listing photos and video services, to virtual staging and brand development. We provide true value to our clients through genuine relationships and high quality services. We know how hard our clients have worked to build their brand, and we also understand how important it is to make their listings sellable. That’s why we always make sure to be a compliment of that fact.  For us it is not just about “capturing the perfect moment”, nor creating the “perfect shot”; but rather “capturing the opportunity to create the perfect client experience.” We genuinely care about our clients and business partners.  We’re also big supporters of local businesses and we enjoy being involved in giving back to the community.

We started our journey photographing REO (bank owned) properties a few years after the real estate market crashed in 2007. Growing the business hadn’t been easy. It has been many hours, days, months and years of hard work and lots of dedication.

One doesn’t grow when they’re comfortable. Growth and comfort do not coexist; therefore, you have to be ready for challenges and create good habits. I’d say one of the biggest challenges we have had to overcome were the changes in the real estate industry. We had no choice but to adapt to the changes, and for that, we had to learn new skills, dedicate ourselves into training, creating new processes and systems while at the same time moving in quite a fast-pace.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta I’d first hug my friend like nobody’s business Lol (This pandemic has me missing the warm-fuzzy hugs) I normally don’t go out much, and believe it or not I don’t drink; but I truly enjoy spending time with family and friends in downtown Alpharetta. I’d definitely take my friend to visit the Avalon in Alpharetta where we could enjoy some great live music, some delicious and amazing food as well as going shopping at some really cool local shops. I’d also take my friend to visit the Collections in Cumming. Atlanta is huge and gorgeous! There’s really not one place where you would go and wouldn’t enjoy the food, the music and of course, the famous Georgia sweet tea. Lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a huge shoutout to all of our clients, and business partners who make our business so unique and vibrant every day. I have been blessed beyond measure for having our clients place their trust in our team. A huge shoutout also goes out to our team members for their grit, loyalty and hard work. And a special shoutout to my family, who supported me throughout the years, and for believing in me and in my ability to push forward in life.
