We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Chemaine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my business was a way to align my passion for wellness, personal growth, and fashion, into meaningful work. After becoming a certified health coach through IIN [Institute for Integrative Nutrition], I realized that true prosperity extends beyond nutrition and exercise. Through my own personal style evolution and countless conversations with women, I began to see that most people don’t realize how the clothing you wear also plays a significant role in your mental and emotional wellbeing.

I launched my styling business to help women dress with intention and to curate wardrobes that reflect who they are and support how they want to feel. With a less-is-more approach, I guide clients toward style rooted in self-awareness, so they can get dressed with clarity and ease. I truly believe that when we show up as our most authentic and confident selves, we naturally attract the people, opportunities and experiences that are meant for us.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m proud to have developed a thoughtful, streamlined method that empowers clients to make confident, conscious decisions about what they wear. It’s not just about curating clothes, it’s about creating a space where they feel safe to explore, let go of what no longer serves them, and rediscover what lights them up.

The journey here hasn’t been linear. After years working in fashion and advertising, and becoming a certified health coach, I reached a point where I wanted to merge my creative skills with a more personal, purpose-driven approach. Starting out, I tested my process with friends and early clients, learning to refine, adapt, and trust my own instincts. Along the way, I realized just how many people feel unsure or disconnected from their style. My calm, compassionate nature builds the trust needed for clients to open up so I can guide them back to themselves with clarity and care.

What I want the world to know is this: personal style is not about trends or rules, it’s about self-awareness, confidence, and alignment. My work is about setting people free from the belief that they “don’t have style” and helping them create wardrobes that reflect their uniqueness and support the lives they want to live.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I actually got to live this dream last summer when a childhood friend came to visit me from South Africa, and I loved curating a week that captured Atlanta’s vibrant soul. What I love most about this city is its patchwork of neighborhoods, each with its own rhythm, creativity, and charm. As nature lovers, we spent our days outdoors, soaking up inspiration and letting the pace unfold naturally.

I’d start with a bike ride or stroll along the BeltLine – my favorite stretch is from Piedmont Park to Krog Street Market. There’s something magical about moving through the city on foot, stopping for a bite or drink at places like Delbar, Superica, or Barcelona along the way … and when the heat kicks in we’ll grab a treat at King of Pops or Jeni’s ice-cream. I’d plan a dog walk at Cochran Shoals along the Chattahoochee, a hike at Roswell Mill Waterfall, and for something a little more adventurous, a long ride along the Silver Comet Trail. These outdoor spaces are where the city breathes and where I get so much of my creative inspiration.

We’d explore Atlanta’s art and design scene with a visit to The High Museum, then wander through Westside Provisions for a mix of food, fashion, and thoughtfully curated home goods. I’d carve out time for cooking at home too – starting with a trip to one of the local farmers markets to gather fresh, seasonal ingredients.

When it comes to dining, I love introducing guests to places that feel special but grounded. The Chastain for a farm-to-table dinner under the stars, Little Rey for tacos and margaritas, and casual breakfasts at places like Le Bon Nosh or Muchacho – perfect for people-watching and slow mornings.

As a personal stylist, I can’t help but weave in a little fashion exploration. I love supporting small, local boutiques when my budget allows and introducing friends to spots like Sabot, Moosh, and Megan Huntz, where the pieces feel one-of-a-kind and carry a story.

Atlanta is full of small joys and soulful moments if you know where to look. To me, the best trips are the ones that blend movement, beauty, conversation, and style – and this city offers that in spades.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Hands down, my shoutout goes to my life coach, mentor, and dear friend, Tallia Deljou. Her guidance has had a truly transformative impact on my life, both personally and professionally.

After experiencing deep personal loss, I reached a point where I knew I had to rediscover who I was beyond the roles I had played. Working with Tallia gave me the tools and support to reconnect with my purpose, rebuild my confidence, and step into the next chapter of my life with clarity and intention.

That inner work became the foundation for my styling business. I wanted to create a space where women could feel seen, supported, and empowered to express themselves fully – not just through their wardrobes, but in how they show up in the world. Tallia helped me remember my worth so I could help others reconnect with theirs. For that, I’ll be forever grateful.
