We had the good fortune of connecting with Naraisha Rorie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naraisha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?

Since a little girl I’ve always had a passion for fashion. Everything about it from accessories , especially clothing and of course shoes and handbags. I started off wanted to style consumers I styled a few people and realize I wanted to do more and showcase my fashion sense more so then I felt like I should start selling clothes that I would wear. I know typically your suppose to shop for what you think other people May like but I shop from my viewpoint on fashion because I definitely think my style is unique and outstanding.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Well I do still work at full time job all while being a single parent to my amazing son Messiah. I would definitely say it has been a rocky road but today I have came along way. I would say it’s all about consistency and going above and beyond to make sure your being the best version of yourself in your personal life and in business I pride myself on spreading love and light to others and if I can inspire one person to never give up and keep going I have done my job. Of course I would also say having an amazing support system from my parents, my close friends , and my man.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Well if I had a friend coming into town to visit we would definitely check out some wonderful food spots on the top of the list now is steak 48 , Ruth Chris or Eddie v’s. We would go by black owned establishments like 1501 mint , enderly park which has a wonderful brunch, members only is also another low key great bar hang out spot . I would also want to go to carowinds which is an amusement park it’s nothing like feeling like a big kid again. Maybe checkout a comedy show or a concert if something is going on that particular week they come to visit here in Charlotte , nc

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
