Meet Myles Barrineau | Digital Marketing Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Myles Barrineau and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Myles, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Being from the Atlanta area (Decatur), I was eager to explore the city once I moved back after college. Yet after researching events and things happening in the city, I kept seeing the same generic message — “visit our lovely restaurants, parks & museums.” I realized there was a need for a single platform that curated all the uniquely Atlanta happenings into one, go-to source for information…a source that served both tourists and locals alike. So that’s what I did!
AtlannaTonight provides the city with a much-needed resource to any and everything to do. With daily events lists and numerous food & beverage recommendations, it truly serves as an insider’s guide for all things Atlanta.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
After 5 years of professional experience working for companies such as ESPN, CBS Sports, and Tip Top Tux, I followed my entrepreneurial spirit and started doing digital marketing on my own in 2020. This helped me realize my passion for working within the Atlanta community.
I started my company, AtlannaTonight LLC in February of 2022, specializing in entertainment marketing and content creation. I serve as Director of Marketing and manage all our social media accounts, where I have grown our Instagram, @AtlannaTonight, to over 26,000 followers in just over a year. Through this I have had the opportunity to collaborate professionally with over 100 local and national businesses such as Minute Maid, Sweetwater, Hyatt Hotels, The Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta United, Ponce City Roof, Modern Luxury, Fever US, and many more.
I’d have to say my most exciting accomplishment so far this year was being named one of the 2023 Top 25 Influencers in Atlanta by Jezebel Magazine. Not only was I recognized personally, but AtlannaTonight was listed as well, making me the only influencer on the list awarded for two social media accounts.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well this feels like cheating… just follow @AtlannaTonight !
Okay, okay, here are a few recs:
My favorite place for coffee is in the Buffalo Bayou Cafe under The Livingston Hotel – it’s just so pretty! People will be mad I told you this, but Alici in Midtown serves the freshest oysters in Atlanta, and they have a Happy Hour special on weekdays for $1 Oysters! For an easy, care-free dinner, Urban Pie in Kirkwood has unbelievably good pizza. And if you’re looking for fine dining, Atlas in the St. Regis Buckhead cannot be beat – try their golden espresso martini for dessert. Finally, I’d end the night with dancing at Johnny’s Hideaway – I like the classics!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give a big shoutout to my passionate AtlannaTonight community! I am so inspired by the number of people that follow us on social media, subscribe to the events calendar, and send messages of encouragement and support.
