We had the good fortune of connecting with Muffy Rainbowpuffz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Muffy, what do you want people to remember about you?
Hmm…I would want to leave my community (wherever I am in the world) better than it was before I leave here. I would want Black Ganesha Consulting LLC to be well known for affordable mental health care & a directory for creative services by minorities. I want to be remembered as a person who was passionate about life who gave everyone space to be their honest self.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Black Ganesha Consulting & Media is a web based mental health resource that facilitates self awareness and healing through Art Therapy. I’ve recently added life coaching to my practice to awesome reviews! I’m super excited about it. Most people don’t need to be told what to do, just space to be heard. What sets me apart is I exclusively use holistic/metaphysical remedies in my practice. If I am unable to help, clients are provided with a directory of other black owned businesses or expert in their network. Is it easy? Absolutely not. Rewarding and makes me happy? YES. What I want the world to know about me is that I can speak so candidly about life and the uncomfortable things many don”t like to discuss because I HAVE had it hard but want people to know you can overcome anything. People don’t have to stay where they started. Anyone can change and be who they want to be. Anyone.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m doing more work than “hanging out” these days, but my favorite places in the city are the following: Silverlake Ramen (Midtown) or Iron Age Korean BBQ for lunch, Doll’s Head Trail at Constitution Lakes Park (walking trail with old, creepy toys all around) in East Atlanta for a fun hike, Sublime Doughnuts (black owned), bubble tea or ice cream from Tea Leaf & Creamery. The High Art Museum is a pretty cool place too when there’s a fun exhibit. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am most grateful for my older brothers…how close I am with my family in general. If it wasn’t for my family, I don’t know how far I could’ve gone in my career or in life. They have always encouraged me to go down my own path. I wouldn’t have been able to (or it would’ve taken me significantly longer) step in to who I truly am without the love & support. I also loooove Grace Jones. Love her!
