We had the good fortune of connecting with Mr. Muzix and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mr. Muzix, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
In the beginning things seem so simple; create an idea, get better at it, set goals, and someone will eventually notice and take you to the next level. However, as time passes, we realize that dreams are not that practical. There have been many moments, days, weeks, months, etc. where I’ve wanted to give up and stop dreaming. This is most often caused by the internal battle of being overwhelmed. I came to a point where I was very unsure of what I wanted in my life, but after careful thinking, I realized that I was already doing what I dreamt of doing. I wanted to be a Rockstar and it didn’t matter the size of the stage, the number of people in the audience, the amount of money I was making, etc.; I was already everything I wanted to be, a Rockstar.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I absolutely love music. The biggest thing I’ve always wanted to push with it is that it can be the outlet a lot of us are still in need of. There’s no need to abuse alcohol or drugs to subdue life’s worries when you have music; and I am very excited to be an artist who now knows it’s true power and the places it can take me.

Though I have only scratched the surface of where exactly I see myself, the journey I have taken thus far has not been easy at all. The external battles, however, seem to be minuscule compared to the internal struggle; there always seemed to be some form of doubt. All in all, my direct message of motivation to everyone is that we can all be Rockstars.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My SHOUTOUTS for today definitely go to two groups that have given me so many opportunities and assistance over the past few months. ‘Reccorddrop Music’ & ‘All My Friends’.

– Reccorddrop Music was one of the first outlets to introduce me to the social media scene with artist interviews and music reviews; along with the opportunity of being a new service to stream my music. They found me and eventually became an outlet where I met other great artists across the world. ( @recorddropmusic )

– All My Friends has provided me with so many opportunities to perform and gain a new audience. Their seasonal concert series have assisted me with perfecting my performance skills as well as developing me as an artist. Im very excited to continue performing with them this year in March.
