We had the good fortune of connecting with Montavious Montfort and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Montavious, why did you pursue a creative career?
My late Uncle was one of the most charismatic people I’ve ever met and he showed me I have a gift for Entertainment and art unfortunately he passed at the age of 23 in 2006 but not before he revealed my god given talent to me
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My Business is Called CalmAndCollectedRecords LLC founded on October 13, 2021 what sets it apart from most record labels is that it’s recovery based it focuses on helping the artist and people associated with the label get professional help with their traumas In Life and allows the artist to grow and encourages them to speak freely about what they are dealing with using music as a tool instead of a weapon
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First we would go to the botanical garden probably go check out a few jazz spots go check out the civil rights museum the High Museum Of Art and the aquarium I really enjoy finding little niche restaurants so we would probably google some cool spots to go to and eat there and we would have to hit up Apache Cafe the vibe there is super chill and a great place to network meet some beautiful people and get your spirit feed
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout out to My Higher Power first and foremost My late uncle Lionel Ramone Paschal aka SKIP Covenant Community Inc. Back On My Feet SAE Institute of Atlanta My entire Family and everybody at Shoutout.
