Meet Money Marley | Rapper, Model, & Boutique Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Money Marley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marley, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
This is a very good question! I honestly feel like I pursued a creative career because it’s always been in me deep down. Since I was a child I’ve loved music, I’ve loved performing, and I have loved the spotlight. I always felt like I was meant to be a beacon of light for others and impact this world through my music and my modeling passions. Don’t get me wrong, NOTHING about being a creative entrepreneur or influencer is easy, but it is so very rewarding to be able to share who you are with others. I honestly can’t see myself doing anything else!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an upcoming female rapper, fashion brand model/ambassador, and a boutique owner. My schedule keeps me pretty busy between the three so I always have something I’m working on. Right now my main focus are my creative aspirations so I’ve put my boutique on a small hold while I chase my dreams! What sets me apart from others is how driven I am. I am a GO GETTER! I have the drive and determination to achieve my goals and reach for the stars. In reference to my music, I also would say that what sets me apart is my versatility and style. I’m definitely not what most people would expect and I take my craft very seriously. I am most proud of my ability to turn my feelings into something beautiful and catchy to listen to. I got where I am today by putting in work! I never stop putting in work no matter how tired I am, lost I can feel, or busy I am. I always put my best foot forward in everything I do and each day I give it my all.
It definitely wasn’t easy because being young it is so easy to feel lost or get discouraged but I push through anyway. I overcome these challenges by reminding myself of how far I’ve come!
Some lessons I’ve learned along the way are to be careful of the company you keep, and to enjoy every moment of life no matter what because It is not promised!
I want the world to know that you can do anything you want in this life as long as you work hard for it. I also want them to know that they will definitely be seeing more of me very soon!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was coming to Atlanta for a week we would definitely have to hit up some good food spots! Frost Bistro, Old Lady Gang, and Fade & Facet are some good ones. If she wants brunch I’d def recommend Fins & Feathers! I have so many stories lol… To hang out I’d head to Piedmont Park, Republic Lounge, or even Revery VR Bar! I loveeee video games so drinks and virtual reality is a match made in heaven.

First I’d like to thank GOD! There are so many days where I didn’t want to keep going or wanted to give up but I didn’t because he gave me the strength to prevail. Second I’d like to thank my partner, and my sister Kyara for their continued love, support, and good advice. I’d also like to thank my mom for always supporting my musical aspirations and my dad for always believing in me! I couldn’t do anything I do without the people I love and all their support.
