We had the good fortune of connecting with Molly Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Molly, what do you attribute your success to?
I am a firm believer that being genuine in my business had led to my success. My goal is for my clients to see how passionate I am about what I do, and to make them feel comfortable throughout the entire homebuying or selling process. Once they go through the process with me, they often refer me to their friends and family which has given me the opportunity to grow my business organically. I love being able to work with all types of personalities, and do not take it lightly that I am walking alongside clients in what will often be the largest purchase they make in their lifetime. Staying true to myself has given me more opportunities within the real estate industry than I could have ever imagined, and I am passionate about sharing that with other aspiring agents.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In mid-2016, I was sitting at a corporate job that I hated. I had two options before me: continue to show up every day to a job that I did not enjoy, or take a risk on something I thought I might love. For three months, I used my lunch break every day to work on my online real estate courses. Once I completed it, I left my current job, got licensed in real estate, and joined Keller Williams. I worked retail throughout that holiday season to get by. My first two years in the business were tough, and there were many times that I felt like giving up. After my third year came around, I finally felt like I had built a foundation. I began having the opportunity to help more and more clients and I truly fell in love with the business. From then on, I have continued to grow my business each year. The biggest lesson I have learned is that great things in this life are worth working really hard for. If I had given up after my second year, I would have missed out on what has become an incredible opportunity to help dozens of clients each year.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I absolutely love Atlanta and all that it has to offer. If I made an itinerary for a week, we’d be amiss not to start at The Beltline. The Eastside Trail is hard to beat. I’d start at the corner of 10th and Monroe, make a pit stop at Ponce City Market to grab lunch and shop, and then hop around on the Beltline with stops at New Realm, Two Urban Licks, and Ladybird. Throughout the week, I’d be sure to catch a show at Variety or Terminal West and visit the zoo and aquarium if you have kids. A few of my other favorite restaurants are Le Colonial, Anis, Storico Fresco, and Fudo. Last but not least, if you’re here on a Sunday night in the summer, you have to throw a blanket down outside of Park Tavern and listen to the music at Sunset Sessions! Summer in Atlanta is the best.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe a large amount of success to my mentor and friend, Richie Torrance, who took me under his wing as a new agent and took a chance on me when I first got licensed in 2016. He taught me that the key to success in real estate is to keep it simple, and that has truly shaped the way I’ve approached my business now for the past 5 years. Being a part of Keller Williams has also played a huge role in my life. Without their systems and training, I would have been lost as a new agent. Fast forwarding to today, I have my teammates at The Sadoti Group and my family to thank for being my constant motivators and encouragers.
